GABE
I closed my Journal book, now focused on the fifth ring from my phone.
Kung sino mang may tagas sa ulo ang tumatawag sa akin is not worth answering, pero finally, tinignan ko na ang Caller ID:
Demon Xaviel
The demon bitch as I expected it to be.
I closed my eyes and try to think of something else. No. Please. Just stop calling, I know exactly what you are going to say and I don't want to hear it.But I answered the damn call anyway.
"Ye—"
"File an interview with Mr. Belen or I'll cut your job off your filthy shoes. As simple as that, you know what I can." she said without greetings or even a pause.
"Xaviel, hindi ikaw ang may hawak sa akin, you are not even the chief ed, I already told Jing that I can't do it. Do it your own." iritang sagot ko.
"Yes, you can say that I can do it alone, but I think small things should be given to small people, that is why I'm giving you the job. Go ahead, file up—"
"Go ahead your own, Xaviel."
"You really are stubborn, Francisco, you know I like persuasion when it is about you."
And when Xaviel talks about persuasion, it doesn't feels good when you see it as you are hearing it now.
"Why can't you understand that I don't want to interview the guy? Fuck off! Do it, Francisco!" she yelled at me through the line.
I rolled my eyes, ano bang problema ng isang ito? Pwede bang siya na lang! Palibhasa hindi niya alam ang nararamdama ko!
"No, Xaviel, you fuck off. I mean it." then I hung up.
