Acquaintances at Hogwarts

Arya

Harry had told Arya to meet her at the entrance to the great hall. She wore a pretty purple dress, that she had spent quite a bit of money on, in hopes on impressing Harry. As she approached the top of the stare, she could see him waiting at the bottom, his back turned. She cleared her so he would look her way, but his back remained facing her. 

She started to walk down the stairs, really slowly, making coughing sounds every now and then to catch his attention. 

"What the hell are you doing?" A Gryffindor guy said, giving her a weird look as he walked down the stairs with his date. 

As embarrassing as it was, she quickly looked towards Harry, hoping he had heard and was wondering what happened. But No. He still didn't look. 

She approached the bottom and awkwardly tapped Harry on the shoulder. He finally turned. 

"Oh hi, uhhhh, Alison, you made it" Harry said as he turned. 

"Umm yeah, you look nice" She replied shyly, noticing he had gotten her name wrong but not wanting to say anything. 

"Thanks...God...look at Cho, she looks so hot, like damn, wow what a girl" Harry replied, his eyes now fixed on Cho again.

Annabeth

"Annabeth! You look stunning!" Seamus smiled as Annabeth walked down from her dorm to the common room. She wore a sparkling silver dress that molded perfectly to her body.

"Thank you Seamus, you brush up pretty well yourself" she giggled, taking his arm.

"Ready to go?" He asked. 

"Absolutely, let's dance the night away!" Annabeth replied, excitedly. 

It seemed they were not the only ball couple leaving the common room at that moment as Fred and Angelina were a few steps ahead of them. Annabeth watched as Fred kissed Angelina's cheek and took his hand in hers. She couldn't help but feel slightly envious of them. 

Annabeth had a bit of a thing for Fred, she thought he was cute and funny. Everytime she had gone to the burrow to visit Ginny, she take care with what she wore and how she dressed a little more than usual. She knew it would never happen. He was three years older than her. She was the friends with his baby sister. But she couldn't help but daydream about him every now and then. 

"Wow, this is incredible!" She exclaimed as she entered the great hall, forgetting all about Fred Weasley. 

Cadwyn

"LAVENDER!!! PRESS PLAY!!!" Cadwyn shouted from the top of the stairs. 

She had paid her Lavender to go down early with her boombox so she could take care of Cadwyn and Cormac's entrance music. She quickly stepped away from her date and pressed the button on the machine so that the music started.

As the music began, Cadwyn and Cormac posed at the top of the stairs before walking down like it was a catwalk. 

Lavender's mouth dropped as she saw what they were wearing. Cadwyn wore an enormous poofy gold ballgown, drenched in glitter and dripping with rhinestones. The necklace around her neck held large rubies and she wore a tiara on her head. Cormac wore a matching gold sparkling suit with a crown sitting on his head, and a white fur coat drooped over his shoulders.

As they reached the bottom they posed again.

"We have arrived! Let the ball begin!" Cormac shouted as they strutted into the great hall.

Rhia

Rhia straightened her dress, making sure it was perfect before approaching the entrance. She wore a sleek red dress with a matching blood red lip. She watched Draco stare at her as she walked down the steps, walking slightly dramatically to make him want her more. 

"You are breath-taking" Draco said, as she finally reached him, his hands instantly roaming her waist. 

"So are you" she winked.

He leaned it to kiss her and his lips were met with the back of her hand. 

"You can't kiss me, you'll ruin my lipstick" she said. 

"But you look amazing!" Draco pouted, clinging onto her tightly. 

"You'll just have to wait until the end of the night" She smirked. She loved than he was melting over her and she wanted to tease him, make him all the more desperate for her.

"Let's go inside, we came her to dance didn't we?" she teased, leading him into the hall.
