"Life's alright in devil town..." I mumble and I notice the black-haired boy give me a small smile.
"Yeah, right, no one's gonna catch us now.." he laughs.
"Dad has bought a new car now..." I tell him looking at the picture of my dad's new car.
"We're fine, no one's gonna catch us now..." he reassures me.
"You said something dumb again. She's mad, at least that's what they say." I start.
"Mum and daddy aren't in love. That's fine, I'll settle for two birthdays." I finish.
"Devil town is colder in the summertime." Damiar shrugs.
"I'll lose my mind at least another thousand times.." I sigh.
"Hold my hand tight, we'll make it another night. I still get a little scared of something new, but I feel a little safer when I'm with you." he mumbles.
"Falling doesn't feel so bad when I know you've fallen this way too." I smile.
"We're all dead in devil town." he laughs.
"That's fine, 'cause nothing's gonna scare us now." I laugh.
"We're all in our dressing gowns, mine's white and stripey, yours is green and brown." he says quietly.
"I forgot my name again, I think that's something worth remembering." I start.
"Spiders in your favorite shoes... just leave them be 'cause they're more scared of you. Devil town is colder in the summertime. I'll lose my mind at least another thousand times." I continue but I'm cut off by Damiar.
"Hold my hand tight, we'll make it another night." he reassures me once more.

It's lovely in the evening time, but every time I close my eyes. The sunshine gets a little dimmer, now the clouds fall down. I sink my teeth into my fingers. Blossom swims across the river, how do you feel so proud?" I ask.
"Every time I close my eyes the colors fade and change inside my mouth." he answers.
"It's all too loud!! I sink my teeth into my fingers. Blood forms branches in the water. Devil town is colder in the summertime I'll lose my mind at least another thousand times." I cry.
"Hold my hand tight, we'll make it another night." I mock.
"I still get a little scared of something new... but I feel a little safer when I'm with you. Falling doesn't feel so bad when I know you've fallen this way too.." I tell him, Damiar pulls me close to him and I snuggle into his chest.
"Devil town isn't as bad as we thought." he whispers and I just sigh as he pulls me closer. I look up at him with a small smile before burying my head in his chest and falling asleep.
