Chapter VII

I've just found out what Jayden meant when he said he'll see me on Thursday. I've just knew that Thursdays are the basketball team's free day. So basically, Jayden and the squad, as the hardworking guys of the team, will resume their training at Hiro's court every Thursday.

My dumbass just realized it now; on a Thursday afternoon, inside the band's van which is heading to the twin's residence. I have no way out. I'll see Kupal no matter what, except lang kung bigla akong magka-invisible powers.

"I feel like my period's coming," this is me trying to dig an escape route for myself.

"May extra ako dito, Alyx," Sydney responded.

"But, ang sakit ng puson ko. I think I'll need pain relievers."

"Our Ate have meds for that," Aki said with a bored tone.

I bet they're already full of my lame reasons. Kanina pa akong madaming reklamo, mula pa sa school.

"Great, I forgot my earphones at the---"

"Enough na Lyx, medyo obvious ka na eh. Let's just pray that JJ won't kill you," Aki said while showing me his nakakarindi-na-sa-tenga-yung-mga-pinagsasabi- mo face.

My heart is now beating as fast as this van's speed.

"You scared?" Kiyo asked me in a low voice after taking off one of his earphones.

It was only the two of us in the passenger seat. I nodded as I showed him a hopeless look.

"Yeah, you should be," he said as he plugged his earphone again.

I wanted to pull his hair, swear. I really thought he was going to help me.

When we arrived, their eyes were all on me. I know they are condemning me for what I did, but I know they are also feeling concerned for me.

As we got in, I immediately felt my stomach fluttering and my throat drying up. The sensations intensified when I saw the spot where I wet my chest the last time. Good thing, Jayden is nowhere to be found at the kitchen and the living room.

I went upstairs as fast as I could. I thought I already survived the devil when I stepped on the stairs' last step, a familiar voice called Travis.

"Travis, let me know if your rehearsals are done. I've got a business to settle with your bandmate."

Travis nodded and looked at me afterwards, "You heard him."

Hindi ko na mabilang kung ilang beses na akong lumunok today. I can't think straight throughout the practice. My mind kept on coming up with plans if he'd corner me.

If he'll bad mouth me, I can deal with that. That shit would be too easy.

If he'll humiliate me to his fans, edi it'll just expose how much of an asshole he is.

If he'll try to touch me and have a sexy time with me, I will kick his crotch. 'Yung sobrang lakas na hindi na niya magagamit genes niya.

If he'll team up with his friends to beat me, I can handle them.

If he'll challenge me with a basketball game, I'm always ready.

If he'll murder me... I'm sure he won't murder me, mahiya naman siya at sa bahay pa siya ng Tito niya gagawa ng crime.

"Hey, mauna na kami ah?" Syd said after she patted my shoulder.

"Ha? I-I'm coming home with you right now," I said.
