"N-No Pa---"

"Yes po, I'm Joben," Jayden looked at me with a smiling face.

My heart started beating rapidly.

"Hold on, Pa," I moved the camera away from our faces.

"You are Joben? Are you freaking serious?" I furiously whispered to him with my eyebrows furrowed.

"Dude, of course not. I just did it because there's no way to convince your Dad that I'm not Joben. Useless na mag-argue pa sa kaniya."

I released a sigh. That gave me a mini heart attack.

"O-Oh, so okay lang sa 'yo na tawaging Joben hi Papa?"

The last time he was Joben, he was fuming mad.

"Yes, baby. Besides, if he liked Joben before, then I don't mind being Joben, at least for him pero hindi para sa 'yo ah?"

"Of course," I replied.

He kissed my forehead.

"Good, so don't worry about me anymore," he gave me a smile for assurance.

I never thought he would be this understanding to my Papa. I made the phone face Jayden and me again, Papa looked joyful.

"I'm so happy to see you again, Joben," Papa smiled.

"I'm delighted to meet you again, Sir," Jayden jokingly bowed.

Mas mabuti na lang na loko-loko siyang humarap kay Papa, kaysa galit. I can't help but smile, seeing the two most important guys in my life getting along.

"Sus, bakit Sir? Call me Tito like before," Papa corrected him.

"O-Okay, T-Tito," Jayden was hesitant, but he looked happy.

"Alyx," Papa called my attention.

"Yep?"

"Where's Mama?" he asked.

Every time we facetime, he's always looking for Mama, but I already got used to it.

"She's away, but she's in a good place," I said while beaming.

I learned to answer the question this way every time Papa asks.

Before our order arrived, we three just talked about NBA. Surprisingly, Jayden and Papa got along really well. They were both Lakers fan so they teamed up against me since I'm a Warriors fan. Ewan ko diyan kay Papa, we're from San Francisco so he's supposed to be on Golden State's side.

"Warriors is nothing without Durant, Lyx," Jayden told me for the nth time.

"Exactly," Papa approved.

"Whatever, boys," I playfully rolled my eyes. "Pa, have you taken your meds na?"

"Yes, anak," Papa yawned.

"Okay, good. I think you should go back to sleep already, you seem sleepy na."

"Yeah, I am. Bye anak and Joben, I'll see you tomorrow," Papa waved goodbye.

"Goodbye Tito."

"Bye, Pa. Talk to you again tomorrow," I gave him a flying kiss.
