Chapter XIX

I told Cara that even the boys are aware of Joben now; that it's impossible for Jayden to have amnesia because Hiro already clarified it. Ganoon kasi 'yung theory ni Cara dati about Jayden and Joben, feeling imbestigador si babae eh.

"May another theory ako, pero 'wag kang magagalit, ha?" Cara said.

"Go," I told her.

She looked uneasy.

Cara took a deep breath before speaking, "Wh-What if Joben died and JJ is his reincarnation?"

I darted a mad look at her. That was not a good one and it was the dumbest theory I've ever heard. Even a thought of it is already giving me chills.

I glared at her.

"S-Sorry, theory lang naman hehe," she showed me a peace sign.

"That's so impossible, both of them were born on the same year. Reincarnation ka diyan, gusto mo mauna?"

"'Wag muna, 'di pa nga kami kinakasal ni Hiro eh," she said while pouting.

"Asa," I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever, I'm heading to my room na, magre-review pa ako," she got up from my bed.

"Night, love you," I told her.

She gave me a flying kiss before leaving.

Since my class tomorrow is still at 10AM and it's still early, I decided to check my Instagram. It's been a long time since I last opened this.

Good thing, Jayden's mad fans haven't found my account since it's private. So, my IG is peaceful pretty peaceful right now.

I checked Jayden's profile. As usual, it was filled with endorsements, clips from their training, and pa-pandesal photos. His highlights were the countries that he and his family visited, they're filthy rich. He'd been to Greece, Japan, France, and China. And what really caught my attention on his highlights is him and his dad's closeness. They looked genuinely happy together.

Among all of his pictures, only one of them made me stop scrolling. It was a picture of him half-submerged in a pool with his arms resting on the poolside. His abs and biceps were exposed, they're really toned. The caption of the post was, "Single as a pringle." I guess he posted this yesterday to clarify that I ain't his girlfriend.

As expected, his thirsty fans are having a party in the comment section.

"See? Single si beb @JJNatividad."

"He was just a gentleman kaya tinulungan niya 'yung girl."

"Single naman pala. Eh sino 'yung haliparot?"

"Good, dapat lang! Ako lang dapat hahawak sa abs mo na yan wahaha"

Haliparot? What in the world does that even mean? Even though I am not familiar with the word, it sounded displeasing for me. Despite his fans' irritating comments on his pictures, I still followed him.

I texted him.

Turn off your comment section sa recent mo na ig post. My eyes are hurting by just reading your fans' comments.

He immediately replied.

Later, I'm studying.

Looks like I disturbed him, I'll just sleep then. When I was about to tuck myself in my sheets, my phone buzzed again.
