From: Jayden Natividad
Good morning. Sunduin kita by 9 AM, get ready.
Today is Sunday, but Jayden decided that we will not have a training today. Ayaw niya daw ng mentoring, gusto daw. I don't mind wherever he'll take me except for his condo.
After reading his text, I took a bath and fixed myself. I wore a white laced crop top paired with high waist shorts. I also applied a little bit of lip and cheek tint which Cara gave me. I never thought I would reach a point where I would be so conscious about my look.
After preparing, I immediately went downstairs. I even skipped breakfast because of too much excitement.
"You're going somewhere, Lyx?"
I was startled when Tita Vien spoke. I didn't know that she was sitting at the sofa, reading newspaper. Usually on Sunday mornings kasi, maaga pa siya sa hospital.
"Uhm, y-yes."
"Hold on, I'll call your driver then," Tita Vien almost grabbed her phone but I stopped her.
"Wait po, someone is going to fetch me so I don't really need my driver today," I said as I flashed a beam.
"Really? Who?" Tita Vien curiously asked.
This the question that I'm afraid of the most. I was planning to lie, but I think wala namang mawawala if I'll tell Tita that I'm going out with Jayden.
"J-Jayden."
If Tita would yell at my face right now, I would understand. I would really understand.
"O-Oh," I saw her tilt her head upon hearing my response. "Just make sure to come home before curfew, okay?"
"Okay po," I sighed due to relief.
I really thought Tita would ask me more questions. I didn't expect that chill reaction from her.
"Ingat, Alyx," she gave me a smile before I came out of the door.
Upon exiting the gate, I immediately saw Jayden's car parked by the gutter across us.
"Hey," a smile just flashed on my face after opening his car's front seat's door.
My man looks so handsome right now. He's wearing a white Gucci shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. Whether he's repping street style, formal wear, or his basketball jersey, he can always rock it. I don't deserve this super fine creature.
He did not respond and just looked at me with a grin. After I got in and buckled my seatbelt, he kissed my forehead and continued to look at me with a suspicious look on his face. He lazily rested his arms on the steering wheel and narrowed his eyes.
"What? You're scaring me," I told him as I bit my lips.
"Nothing, baby," he just shook his head and started the engine.
"No, meron. Is there a dirt in my face?" I checked myself on the front mirror, but my face looked absolutely fine.
"Wala, you just look different today," his right hand entwined with my palms.
Our hands rested on my lap. He really noticed the slight changes I did to myself today.
"Different? Like positively different or---"
"You look more beautiful today," he cut me off.
He took a quick glance of me. I bit my lip and rested my head on the window beside me.
