"Oh, balik ka na ng school?" Cara asked me after I sat beside her during breakfast.

I nodded and smiled.

"It's nice to see you finally feeling alright, Alyx," Tita beamed.

"Thanks, tita," I smiled back to her.

I'm still in awe until now. I still couldn't believe that Jayden actually feels something for me. I l look stupid last night looking at the ceiling while smiling because I couldn't sleep. I'm such a lucky person. Jayden is like a blessing, he saved me from a lot of pain.

"Naku pumunta lang si---"

I kicked Cara's toe under the table. Ayan na naman si big mouth.

"Sinong pumunta?" Tita looked at us with a curious face. \

Cara and I looked at each other.

"S-Si Jayden po," I looked down.

"Hmmm, looks like napapadalas na siya 'ata dito."

I don't know what to reply since it is true. I hope that if Tita finds out the truth, she'd support us.

There was silence until Cara started talking.

"Uh s-so Lyxie, napag-isipan mo na ba 'yung decision mo about US?" she tried to switch the topic.

"Y-Yes," I said.

Both of them looked nervous, "I think it's better for me to stay here. I should finish what I've started."

The two sighed in relief.

"Thank God," Cara hugged me tight. I've just realized that if I'll go back to San Francisco, the only thing I could do there is to take care of Papa. But if I'm here, I get to study, I have time to engage myself to music, and I get to restart my life. Besides, I can still get in touch with Papa naman on facetime though I'm here.

"Mabuti at napag-isipan mo nang mabuti," Tita held my hand that is resting on the table.

"Yeah. And I feel like I can't just leave you guys here," I beamed.

Cara and I rode at the same car to school today because my driver got sick. Baka na-stress na 'yun kaka-hintay sa akin araw-araw tapos pinapauwi lang din na walang sakay. The whole morning was just the usual, but Jayden and I decided to have lunch together because I wanted him to meet Papa.

"Hey!" I waved at Jayden as I was approaching his direction.

He looks hot with his striped shirt and ripped jeans. He's sitting at one of the stairs' step. We just saw each other last night but my corny-ass missed him already.

"Hi gorgeous," he greeted me as I sat one step lower than his stair.

I settled between his thighs. We decided to meet near the statue where we first met since there are no students passing here.

"Hi superstar," I greeted him back.

"I never pack lunch, you know," he told me while he was taking his lunch box out of his bag.

"You're too sweet. What did you cook?" I checked his container.

"Sandwich. I made two kahit wala na akong time," he handed me my sandwich.

"Thank you! I appreciate it," I leaned side wards on his knee. "You don't have to do this every day. Starting tomorrow, I'll ask manang to cook packed lunch before I leave."
