Chapter 32 "The Proposal"

"I'm sorry, BUT WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!"

Hailey was heard stomping her feet from around the corner on the ship's deck. 

"Babe." Justin walked up to her. 

"Don't babe me!" Hailey angrily pushed Justin away. "What is this undeniable love you have for her!"

"Hailey." I want to explain but her face has gotten red like a tomato.

"Don't Hailey me!" Hailey screamed and was about to tear up. "I thought we were starting to get along." 

"Hear me out." Justin said slowly taking his steps towards her. 

"What is this!" Hailey saw a glimpse of a tiny box in Justin's hand that he hid in a hurry. "Were you going to propose to her? While in a relationship with me!" 

"How clueless is this girl?" I said loud enough for only me to hear. 

"Hailey!" Justin cried as she turns away but he dropped on his knees and held his hand out with the tiny box. "I wanted to propose to you..." He slowly spoke the words out but Hailey was already walking halfway 

"Get up, she can't hear you." I grabbed his hands and pulled him up. He took a seat on a nearby chair. 

"What can I do now?" He rest his head on his palm. "The surprise is ruined! She hates me!" 

"Justin, stop being so dramatic." I replied. "You know what you can do?"

"What?"

"Run after her! NOW!" 

Justin took off in a dash going after Hailey. He left the ring on the table so I picked it up and just went back to my suite. 

"Hey, where have you been?" Kaylyn asked rolling around on the bed. "It's pass midnight aren't you tired?" 

"Did I wake you?" I took my shoes off and sat on the couch. 

"No but I couldn't sleep with Velma's snoring. That girl is LOUD." Kaylyn got off the bed and went  out to the living room. "Hey what's that?" She was referring to Justin's box. 

"That there is Justin's proposal ring." I said resting it on the table. 

"PROSPOSAL!" Kaylyn screamed, "Did he proposed to you!" 

"No! He's with Hailey remember?" 

"I know! But maybe he's secretly in love with you." Kaylyn grabbed a bag of chips and start eating. "You know he sort of had a crush on you before he was with Hailey right?" 

"What? How do you know this?" I pondered, "Did he say something?" 

"Oh come words get around but you showed no interest in him." 

"Oh yeah well that's done, he's going to marry Hailey anyway." I took the bag of chips from Kaylyn and ate some. 

"You don't know that, had she even said yes. Plus why do you even have his ring?" 

"He was practicing what he was going to say to her with me but Hailey was at the wrong place at the wrong time." 

"No way, did he asked this from you?" 

"Yeah, he said he wants to run through some lines with someone who he's comfortable with and since I'm his good friend now..." 

"Aww, you got friend zoned." Kaylyn took the chips back. "That's cool, isn't everything going swell with Harry?" 

"Totally, yeah! He's a fun guy but he probably just want a short term relationship." 

"Look I think it's the opposite, Harry has been such a great guy to you so far that I've seen."
