There's more than 300 movie theatres in New York, and the majority of them belong to major cinema chains. Peter knew that, but his heart was set out on taking Nico to a small local theatre just a subway stop away from his house. Peter knew the theatre would be empty, and that's exactly what he wanted and he didn't know why.
The two sat in the middle of the empty theatre, talking their way through the movie they both wanted to see so bad.
"You're him!" Nico shouted, pointing at a random character on the giant screen.
"No I'm not! He's gonna die in like the next five minutes, I know it!" Peter retorted, "You're her!" he says, pointing to a random character in the back of the shot.
Nico looked at the screen and then back at Peter, "Really? The random extra? That hurt, I'm not even a main character in your eyes?" Nico said jokingly before tossing a piece of popcorn at Peter. Peter ducks his head and catches the popcorn in his mouth, making Nico go wide-eyed as they both start cheering.
"Okay, okay, maybe we should watch the movie," Peter suggested. Nico nodded and turned to the screen in silence. Seconds pass before Peter looks over at Nico again, "Toss me another one?"

It was clear the movie was coming to an end. There was only one character left up against the masked killer, and Peter and Nico were starting to get restless. Nico glanced over at Peter to find him already looking over at him.
