Hello peeps! It's me, West!
I'm terribly sorry for the wait. Please forgive me. The reason this chapter is being released almost 16 months after the previous chapter is because I was on my religious mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. My leave to Argentina had started October 2019, but because of the pandemic I came home and updated a couple more times before I was reassigned to California in May of 2020, and eventually I was able to return to Argentina before I returned home last week.
I did not have access to wattpad while on my religious mission, there is my excuse, and I hope you can forgive the wait and enjoy the rest of the book.
If you are starting to read this again after a long wait, please re-read the rest of the story before this chapter. It'll make a lot more sense to you I promise.
I'm glad to be back, please enjoy the chapter.
I enjoy critiques and helpful comments (we're all looking to be better writers aren't we?)
Remember, the goal for this book is twenty chapters. Excluding this ridiculously long author's note the word count for this chapter is 2005 words.
Please enjoy!

After evening training the next day, Captain Odger began to approach Link with a small smile on his face.
Link's excitedly excused himself from talking with Joseph and eagerly approached Captain Odger.
Has Captain Audric already arranged the meeting with the guard? Link thought as his heart began to beat faster.
"Well done today," Captain Odger smiled as they reached each other. "I know I've said this before, but you may very well be my best knight." He hesitated as he glanced behind him towards the barracks. "Not to mention that you may be the best out of all the knights in Hyrule."
"Thank...you..." Link said uncomfortably.
"I've been told to inform you that a meeting has been scheduled for you at dusk," Captain Odger said as he rested his arm on the hilt of his sword.
"With a guard?" Link asked hopefully.
Captain Odger eyed him curiously. "No...with her highness, Princess Zelda."
Link's shoulder's slumped. "I see." So much for getting my hopes up.
"She'll be waiting for you on the west hill near the castle," Captain Odger said as he took off his fencing gloves. He eyed Link again. "Dusk. I would arrive there early if I were you."
"Of course," Link said as he took his gloves off too, "thank you Captain."
Captain Odger smiled and shook Link's hand firmly. "I will see you tomorrow. Have a great evening."
Link gave Odger a fake smile before his Captain turned around to mount his horse again.
Link found Epona by the stable. He leaned up against her and sighed.
"What is this all about Epona?" Link asked. "When will I get answers about Aryll?"
Epona softly neighed. Link sighed again and mounted his horse. He kicked to get her moving, and they started on their way towards the castle.

Zelda was sitting under a single cherry tree, on a blue blanket. The pink leaves were blowing lightly in the wind. There was a magnificent sunset in the distance. Zelda looked down the hill to see the knight, Sir Link Forrester, walking up the hill. He had left his horse at the bottom of the hill.
