You bolted upright as the screaming got louder. Jeff was still sleeping on the ground and the screaming sounding feminine. You started to figure out were the sound was originating from and you realized that the screaming was probably coming from down the hall. Once you figured that out, you decided to either staying in the room or going to see what was going on. You sat there trying to decide when the screaming filled your ears again, deciding for you, telling you to go and check it out.
You removed the blankets from you and, cautious as to not awaken Jeff, walked past him and quietly closed the door. Sure, he was sleeping through the screaming but something told you that if he heard the door to his room open and close, that would wake him up and you wanted to see what was going on by yourself. When the door was completely closed, you bolt down the hallway to where the screaming was coming from. Turns out, the screaming was coming from a door painted dark blue with black here or there. You decided to knock because you had no idea who's room it was and you didn't want to barge in on someone doing something you shouldn't see. You patiently waited after the screaming stopped abruptly so you thought whoever was in there had stopped what they were doing. Finally, the door opened to reveal EJ. He was wearing his mask and a black pair of gloves to hid his grey skin and his empty eye sockets.
"Oh, hey (Y/N)! Do you need something?" he asked, taking off his mask.
"No, I was just curious as to the screaming. It woke me up." you said
"Oh, sorry. I'm in with one of my patients. Would you like to meet her?" he asked, awkwardly rubbing the back of his head. Your eyes lit up with interest.
"Yes please!...I mean if that's ok with you" you said, trying to contain your excitement. He laughed as he moved, giving you room to enter his room. As you walked in, you took in your surroundings. You've only been to the hospital once because you had broken your leg during your third foster house and the room looked exactly like that room, only bloodier. Surgery tools like scalpels, different types of scissors, and syringes were placed neatly on the counters, all of them bloody. There were two beds in the room. One was put in the far corner of the room. Another bed was in the middle of the floor. What looked like a hospital bed was holding up a woman who looked like she was in the middle of surgery.
The girl had long auburn hair mixed with a little brown that flowed beautifully in the light that shined above her. Her eyes were a soft brown that almost looked like chocolate. A gag was put in her mouth so it must've been put on her before you got there. Tears were streaming down her face as she stared in horror at you and EJ. She was wearing a hospital gown that he must've constantly because the gown was covered in blood for previous victims, tho it was mainly bloody in one spot. Around where the kidneys would be, a hole was cut into the dress. In the hole, a cut was bleeding out and you could see inside the woman's stomach.
You walked up to her as if you were in a trance. EJ closed the door but stayed where he was, watched your movements. When you reached her bedside, she tried to move away from you but the ropes around her held her in place. When she stopped struggling, she looked you in the eyes, terror filling her eyes as you laughed at her weakness. You looked at EJ.
"Can I take care of her?" you asked. The mask was still on his face, but if you had to guess, you would say that he was surprised by your question.
"Sure, but you need a weapon and I'm not letting you use my tools." he said. Your eyes widen.
'Was he serious? Am I really gonna a weapon of my own?' you thought. As if reading your mind, EJ nodded and opened the door, signalling for you to follow. He lead you out to the hallway and outside to a shed...well you didn't know what else to call it. It was HUGE! He led you in to the building and stopped at the entrance. He waited patiently for you to reach him. When you finally caught up, he was leaning against the wall.
"You ready?" he asked. You nodded as he turned to open the door. As soon as the door was wide enough, you bolted through it, eager to find the perfect weapon. EJ came in behind you soon after, rather slowly like he was approaching a dangerous, cornered animal that was ready to pounce and rip his face off. But you, however, took little notice because you were looking around the big, open space. Weapons hung neatly in sections on the walls. One section had swords. Another was for daggers and knives. But as much as you wanted to head towards the dagger section, something told you to head deeper into the building.
You kept walking towards the back when something told you to stop and look around. You looked right and your jaw dropped as your eyes nearly popped out of your head in amazement. The section you were looking at was smaller compared to the others with around 5 weapons hanging on the wall but some were so big, others had to lean against the wall. But these weren't any ordinary weapons. These were scythes. You liked all of them but one in particular caught your eye. It was hanging on the wall but it wasn't huge (the design of it is in the pic at the top and if you want it a different color just imagine it in that color). You walked towards it and picked it up of the wall. It's weight was manageable.
'It's perfect' you thought. You started swinging it around to get a feel for the weapon and to your astonishment, and great pleasure, it felt right in your hands. You smiled to yourself before heading towards EJ, who stayed by the door. When he saw you and the weapon you picked, he didn't say anything, just led you back to his room to fulfill his promise for you to have fun with the woman.
