After you got back to the mansion and Siren had her lessons with you, you flopped down on the couch, exhausted. You were thinking of taking a nap when the seat beside you sank in and someone pulled you into their lap. You looked up to see Jeff smiling down at you. You smiled back and brought his head down to kiss his cheek. He chuckled and kissed you on the lips. You kissed back and he pulled away, both for you still smiling.

"How was training with Si?" he asked.

"I didn't know there were so many ways to toy with someone! When we were taking breaks between sessions, she told me stories about some of her hunts and she loves to play with them before she kills and eats them!" You said excitedly. Jeff chuckled.

"She's always had a talent for that sort of thing. Hell, it's cool hearing about it but you should actually see her in action. I'm glad I was never on the pointy end of her scythe or her canines for that matter." he said. You laughed and he laughed with you. You both sobered and he placed his hand on your head. You felt his fingers run through your hair and you relaxed, melting under his touch. curled you body closer to his when you heard short chuckle. Your head snapped towards Siren, who was walking into the room, her face showing how bored she was.

"I know that I'm probably interrupting a moment but I wanted to ask (Y/N) something." she said. You sighed and sat up, much to Jeff's disappointment.

"What's up?" you asked.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go on a hunt with me?" Siren asked and you heard Jeff grunt slightly.

"I wanted to be her first spree partner!" he complained. Siren rolled her eyes.

"I'm sure you'll have many chances to go on a killing spree with her but I'm bored!" she moaned back in annoyance.

"How about I settle this?" you cut in. They both looked at you and Siren's ears went down a little.

"Sorry." Siren said. Jeff nodded in agreement, looking at the ground. You sighed.

"How about we all go?" you suggested. They seemed to consider this then nodded in agreement. A few hours later, the night hours had long since passed and you, Siren, and Jeff were ready to head out to the nearby town. Siren walked outside and turned into her wolf form. You watched in amazement as she stepped through the shadows and her fur matched the shadows perfectly. She turned her head to look at you and her eyes contrasted her fur beautifully. You barely made out her body as she crouched down for the both of you. She had agreed to carry you and Jeff as long as you didn't flirt the entire time she was around. The plan was that You would do one house with Jeff and another with Siren before you bolted out of the town. The way they both had the title of having your first killing spree together.

You and Jeff climbed on her back and Jeff instantly wrapped his arms around your waist. After she made sure that you were secure, she started jogging at a calm pace. You enjoyed the scenery as she jogged past trees and the little creek where Siren had told you her story. You decided not to think too deeply about it cause you felt Jeff's eyes burn into you and you felt like he could tell if something was on your mind. You didn't want to ruin the trust Siren clearly had in you because you felt like her trust was like diamonds, rare but priceless and precious. Your wandered to the question about Siren's and Jeff's relationship.

You knew that he loved you and you alone, but if they knew each other before you ever came along and they were as close as others said, why was Siren so cautious around him, like she expected him to do something to her so bad that she had to defend herself if necessary? You remembered her telling you that she had trust issues, especially with men, but you were confused as to why she couldn't seem to remember anyone from the mansion. You had an idea that somehow or in someway, she hit her head or someone hit her upside the head hard enough to cause slight amnesia. You knew that if she had full amnesia then she wouldn't remember her childhood but she clearly remembered every detail so she must have had something happen to her after she ran away from the mansion.

An image flashed in your mind of Siren, unconscious and tied to a chair in a dimly-light room with...Nina??? You were so confused when Daemon's voice spoke in your mind.

"Your welcome." was all he said. You were confused. It made no sense. You were about to ask him what he meant when your eyes widened, your mind quickly putting the pieces together. Nina was why she didn't remember anyone from the household! Your hands clenched in anger, accidentally pulling at the fur under your hands but Siren didn't whimper. She continued walking as if she was used to it. You sent her a telepathic apology then felt the grip on your stomach tighten slightly, trying to get your attention. You looked back to see Jeff with his eyes soft and full of worry. You smiled reassuringly and turned back to the front. You now had a bitch worth killing.
