When Siren reached the edge of the town, she crouched down so you and Jeff could get down. When you both were off her back, she shifted into her human form, a scythe in her hand. It was different from your own but just as beautiful. You reached a hand to touch the already bloody blade and saw Siren's head look at your hand then you. She tilted her head then moved the scythe towards your hand. You smiled and touched the blade.

"You have a beautiful weapon." you complimented. She smiled and you saw her tail wag slightly in the shadows behind her. After you removed your hand, she pulled the scythe back and it vanished into thin air. She turned her attention to the town, her face going blank. She moved forward, staying low to the ground as she moved. You saw her eyes bounce at every window of every house, looking for movement. When she didn't see anything, she waved to you and Jeff and you moved up behind her. She straightened and looked at you.

"Ok, we'll go together first while Jeff goes into another house. When we're done, we'll meet up here and we'll switch, got it?" you nodded in understanding and you saw Jeff's shoulders slump slightly in the corner of your eye. You looked at him and smiled before kissing him on the cheek, right above the cut on his cheek. He smiled and pulled you close before gently kissing you on the lips. After enough time passed, he pulled away and nodded before setting his eyes on a house and running silently to it. You smiled as you watched him then followed Siren to a house across the street a few houses farther from Jeff's house. Siren was peering into a window when you reached the house. She looked you and and smirked playfully.

"The world is ending because your leaving your mate's side." she said teasingly. You felt a blush creep onto your face and flipped her off. She chuckled quietly and turned her attention to the window. She checked to see if it was unlocked then brought her left pointer finger up and looked at it before a claw shot out of her finger. She put her claw to the rims of the window and traced the square on the glass. When she was done, she placed her hand on the glass and gently pushed it in. The glass started to fall but when she had enough room, she slipped her fingers around the glass and set it soundlessly on the ground. She hopped into the house and you smiled.

'This is gonna be fun.' you thought as you followed her. She was standing in the middle of what looked like the living room. You could faintly hear her sniffing the air then when she looked at the stairs, she moved towards it. The floors were tiled so there was less chance of creaking under your feet so you followed behind her, your senses on high alert. You were so focused that you could see the ears on Siren's head twitch and move in every direction, trying to pick up any noise or sounds.

When she finally reached the top of the stairs, she paused and sniffed the air again. It didn't take her long before she pointed at a door then the door across from it. You were confused then nodded in understanding. She was saying that people were in those room and that they were the targets. She silently moved to the one closest to you but as she moved, a sort of grace flowed from her body. You thought of it like a dance, the way her body moved from shadow to shadow. You followed her soon after and when you reached her side, she opened the door slowly. The door creaked slightly but not loud enough to wake the now visible teenaged male sleeping in his bed. When she opened the door fully, she pointed to herself then the boy. You nodded and searched the room for a shadow to hide in so that you could watch.

When you were settled in a nicely dark shadow, Siren nodded and moved silently to the edge of his bed. She just stood there watching him and as she did, the boy started squirming uncomfortably in his sleep. When he finally woke up, he stared in shock and horror at Siren, who's head was cocked to the side, staring intently at him. He backed up in his bed but she didn't move, just watched him. Then a hint of a smile moved onto her face.

"Hello, little one." she said, her voice so calm, it sent shivers down your spine. You've heard her talk calmly but now, her voice held something you couldn't describe. It was like she was holding her insanity in as she spoke. Her eyes were narrowed but you still saw the insanity in them. It scared you and you were thankful she was a friend and not an enemy. The boy shook slightly as he stared back at her, probably trying to figure out who she was and how to get away. He clearly saw her insanity and was cautious on how to continue to survive.

"W-who are fuck a-are you?! H-how...W-why are you in my house?!" he asked, fear making his voice crack slightly. Siren's smile grow, letting her insanity grow.

"I just had a question." she said, her voice sweet. "It's very important to me." The boy was still shaking as he nodded.

"T-then what i-is y-your quest-tion?" he stuttered and you saw that his obvious fear was getting to Siren as her eyes and smile grew wider, showing more and more insanity. Her tail twitched on the floor in the sliver of moonlight that shone through the window. You would be lying if you said that her insanity wasn't spilling out onto you. Her scythe materialized in her hand behind her back. You wondered how it disappeared in the first place but you decided to ask her when you got back to the mansion.

"What is fate?" she asked, making you think back to the woman you killed in EJ's room. You tilted your head slightly in curiosity. You wondered if you were more connected then you originally thought. You saw the boy shiver slightly, probably because he had a chill run down his spine. You smiled slightly at his discomfort.

"I-I-It i-is what we are destined t-to d-do?" he asked, more of a question then a certain answer. Siren seemed to be disappointed like she was hoping he would have a different answer. You were confused, wondering what she was thinking. She sighed.

"Pity. I thought you would be different from the others...the others always said that they didn't know or had the same answer as you...but I truly know that it is." She said, her insanity rebuilding in her eyes. The boy noticed and tried to back away but the wall behind him stopped him.

"T-Then why did you ask m-me i-if you already k-knew?" the boy asked. Siren smiled insanely and shrugged.

"I just wanted to know if I was the only one who knew the truth." she said, her sliver eyes now the scariest thing around. The boy seemed to squirm under her gaze. If it were you, you would have done the same.

"S-s-so w-what is the truth?" he asked and then she lost it. She widened her eyes and swung her scythe out into vision.

"I know...because I AM YOUR FATE!!!" she said, stabbing him in the throat before he even had a change to scream. After she made sure he was dead, she turned into her wolf and throw the boy into the air before swallowing him whole.
