An interesting twist in fate(Jeff x reader)

(Halloween special!) Chapter 20: Trick or meat-I mean treat!

It was a little pasted 7:30 when everyone was finally dressed up and ready to go. You asked why everyone had to go and Jane explained that Sally didn't like to go trick-or-treating without everyone with her. Not that everyone had a problem with it. Everyone else wasn't complaining because of the fact that they got candy out of it so they were fine with it. When everyone was ready, Slender called everyone to the front of the house and split everyone into groups of 2, explaining that it would draw less attention then a large group of teenage kids trick-or-treating. He put Clock (who was a pirate and had a eye patch covering her clock eye) with Jane, Toby with Ben (who was Link from his game (yea yea im probably gonna get yelled at in the comments but i couldn't think of anything else!)), Hoodie with Masky, EJ (who was dressed like a doctor) with LJ, and finally you with Jeff. He asked Sally to pick a group and she decided to go with Clock and Jane. Liu was sent off on a mission a few hours before by Slender so he wasn't there to go with everyone.

When everyone was in their groups, Slender teleported everyone to different towns. When you opened your eyes, you both found yourselves in a small town surrounded by woods. Little kids ran around in costumes varying from superheroes to princesses to monsters like zombies or vampires. You chuckled slightly as you looked around. You felt Jeff move to your side. You felt something wrap around your waist and before you could slap someone, you looked down to see a pale hand. When you looked up at Jeff, he was smirking, his eyes staring deep into your (E/C) eyes. You blushed and looked down the road, trying not to stare down at the hand wrapped at your side.

"Ready for some Halloween fun?" he asked. You smiled and nodded. He smiled and started walking, your body moving with him like you've done it before. After about hour and a half, you started feeling watched. You weren't used to the feeling, considering the fact that you lived in the woods alone for years, but you were also in an unknown environment so you tried your best to ignore the feeling and enjoy your time with Jeff. He would often glance at you with a smirk, making you blush under the attention. He would chuckles and turn his attention back to whatever he was doing before. There were the few times when you pulled out an uno reverse card (you had heard it from Ben and when you asked what it was he kindly explained it to you) and made him blush by looking over your shoulder and winking at him.

Finally, you couldn't stand the feeling anymore! You looked into a part of the forest where you thought you were feeling most uneasy and nearly screamed. In the dark shadows of the forest, a pair of blood red eyes stared at you. You felt a drawing to it like you needed to go to the eyes immediately. Your mind, however, was in survival mode, saying that it was a possible danger that should be avoided. You tried to decide what to do before turning to look at Jeff, but unlike before he wasn't staring at you. He was staring right at the pair of eyes in the woods, eyes wide and jaw hanging slightly in disbelief. You looked back at the forest to see the eyes turn away and head deeper into the woods. That was when your body took control and you started a mad bash for the woods and the glowing eyed creature the lurked within.

I was just finishing up a meal when I sensed something tug at my mind. I was confused because that was the same way I came from, that is, where I got my meal. I looked at the now one armed corpse laying on the ground, the blood gleaming in the pale moonlight. I sighed before swallowing him whole. Thank the gods I can do that. The perks of being a wolf I guess. I followed the feeling towards the small town I was just in when the clouds covered the moon above me and my eyes locked on a female dressed like Harley Quinn and was standing behind a male who was dressed like the Joker. Guess they're a couple. As soon as my eyes landed on her, I noticed the girl get slightly tense. I felt curious, wondering if she sensed my presence and wondered if she was like me.

I watched her for a little longer before she finally turned and saw me. She looked terrified and shocked to see me, tho I doubt she 'saw' me. I bet she only saw my eyes glowing. I tend to bend well with the shadows. She was pretty and I could tell even with the makeup on. The male must have been talking to her because he turned to her and when he saw her staring at me, he looked up to see be and his face as shocked more than the girl's. I wondered briefly if I should've just leapt out and kill everyone and have a large buffet for Halloween but something told me that they were important individuals. They stared at me before I decided to move to the next town and walk away. It didn't take long before I heard faint footsteps gaining on me fast. I smirked the best I could and picked up the pace to a jog.

I kept going until a saw a small clearing and when I looked up, I saw the clouds move away from the moon, getting close to revealing her beautiful light. I considered running so that the person chasing me wouldn't see me but somehow, I felt ok with them seeing me. I stopped in the middle of the clearing and turned around to see the girl from before, the male not far behind.

(Jeff POV)

I was trying to talk to (Y/N) when I realized that she wasn't responding to me. I looked at her and she was staring at something behind us. Thinking that she was staring at a nicely decorated house, I turned and immediately, my pulse ticked up several notches. In the pitch black shadows of the forest, two glowing red eyes stared back at us tho I think they were staring mainly at (Y/N). I would have stepped in fornt of her to protect her if I didn't recognize the eyes. They were HER eyes! She was finally back! I couldn't believe it! I was starting to think that she was dead! Her eyes stared at us before they turned away and as soon as she did, (Y/N) bolted after her. I was about to stop her when my body decided to run after her. We kept running until we stopped in a clearing a couple miles away from the town. The clouds that were covering the moon finally pulled away to reveal what we were chasing.

It was an extremely large pitch black wolf, the glowing blood red eyes still glowing the same way I remembered them.
