Flight MG-016: Sneak Out

Mason and I couldn't sleep that night. He held me tight as I shudder from fear because the whole thing was creeping me out.

The stalker was inside my room while I was peacefully sleeping, and that was too much to bear!

The thought made me shiver.

Nasira na ang plano namin at hindi na tinuloy ang tour namin sa Batanes and now, we're already on our flight back to Manila. Nang malaman nila Gia ang nangyari ay galit na galit sila at handa nang makipag-away. They offered to stay with me so that I wouldn't be alone in my condo but Mason told them it's not safe for us to be there.

Mason has been restless and silent since last night, drowning in his own thoughts. He made a few calls to secure my unit, he also made sure to change the locks on my door. He originally wanted to replace both the front and balcony doors but I argued with him and told him changing the locks will do. But that made him even more frustrated.

I have never seen Mason act like this before. He looked like he was about to beat the hell out of someone at any given minute.

His arm was protectively wrapped around me and not even once did he ever let me go out of his sight.

I didn't told my dad nor my brothers about what happened because I didn't want them to worry. And I have no plans to. I didn't want to burden them with my problem. I'm strong enough to handle this.

And I have Mason with me.

When we landed on the Manila International Airport, Mason's driver was already waiting for us. We dropped my friends first on their dorms and condos before we headed to mine.

Natatakot akong umakyat sa floor ng unit ko. Feeling ko kasi ay narito pa rin ang nagsend sa akin ng picture.

Paano kung hindi lang pala 'yon ang time na nakapasok siya sa kwarto ko? Paano kung lagi pala siyang nasa unit ko without my knowing?

Bwisit na stalker 'yon sinisira ang confidence ko!

This is not good for my mental health. The constant worry and uneasiness will drive me crazy.

Mason held me tightly as he sensed my hesitation. My knees almost gave out when we reached my floor because there were three men waiting outside my door.

"Don't worry. Those are security." Mason assured me when I suddenly stopped walking.

"Okay, sorry."

"You don't have to say sorry. You're worried for your safety, it's normal for you to act this way."

I felt a whirlwind of emotions inside me. "I love you."

He kissed the top of my head. "I love you, too. I'm here. I'll protect you." He whispered.

Pumasok na kami sa loob ng unit at hindi ako bumitaw ng hawak kay Mason. I clung myself to him like an octopus. Napalitan na lahat ng locks sa buong unit. Automated lock na ang nasa front door so that I wouldn't have to use keys, I just need to enter my passcode or my fingerprint.They even installed CCTV cameras all over the place and a motion sensor on the foyer to monitor if someone would try to break in.

"Sir, wala pong senyales na sapilitan na pumasok ang tao na sinasabi niyo." Sabi ng isang lalaki kay Mason.

I blinked at him. Ano daw? Hindi sapilitan?

"What do you mean? That person has a key?"

"Pwede pong ganon, sir. Pinacheck na rin namin ang CCTV ng building pero mukhang napakialaman na rin niya. Mukhang matalino ang kalaban, sir, at hindi pabasta-basta."
