"Smile for the camera Captain Madrigal!"

"Mr. Madrigal, can I ask who are you with?"

"Where's Mia?"

"Have you broken up with Mia?"

"Can you give us details about your new aircraft?"

Sunod sunod ang tanong ng media habang papasok kami sa venue ng launching. I didn't answer any of those because all informations regarding the event will be released to the press after the event. Camera lights kept flashing from all directions as we enter the ballroom and I held Gabby against me so she wouldn't get swarmed by the media.

"Who's Mia?" Tanong ni Gabby sa'kin nang makapasok na kami sa loob.

I cleared my throat. She couldn't know about her yet, she might panic. "She's Corbyn's cousin."

"Ex mo?" She raised her brow.

"Not really." I answered uncomfortably.

"Ah, girlfriend."

"No, hindi rin."

"Pwede ba 'yong ganon na sagot?"

"Why, are you jealous?" Tanong ko.

She rolled her eyes. "Bakit ako magseselos sa ex mo, e, ex mo rin naman ako?"

I pulled her closer to my side. "She's just a friend, Gabby."

"Okay. Friend."

I fought back a smile, biting the inside of my cheeks. "You don't have to be jealous, you're the one beside me right now. And that speaks volume."

"Hindi nga ako nagseselos!" Naiinis na sabi niya.

I smirked. "Sure."

She hissed, pushing me away but failed.

"You look stunning tonight." She was wearing a deep blue evening gown with a high slit on her left thigh, unknowingly coordinating with my deep blue tuxedo.

"Tonight lang?" Tanong niya.

I shook my head as I smiled at her. "You look beautiful everyday."

"I know."

I grinned. "Let's meet some people, the program's about to start."

She half-heartedly hooked her hands on my left arm as we walk to our seat. Naroon na sila Corbyn sa table namin, at marami na rin bisita ang narito. I was greeted with a lot of guest from different countries before I even got to our table.

"This is Gabby, my... friend." My brows furrowed as I introduce her to one of the investors.

Ano ba ang dapat kong sabihin? Wala naman kaming label. If I say she's my ex, it might spark another issue. Shit.

I gave her a glance, takot na baka na-offend siya sa sinabi ko but I saw her smiling as she greeted the guests. Bagay na bagay talaga siya sa tabi ko. Pagkatapos ay naglakad na ulit kami para makarating sa table namin.

"Hi, Gabby!" Lexi greeted as we sat on our chair.

"Lex!"

Lexi gave me knowing glance as she hugged Gabby. Hindi pa rin ayos ang problema sa kaso ni Mia at alam kong parehas namin gustong protektahan si Gabby.

I knew it was confusing but Gabby and Mia has something in common.

Pero hindi ko muna pwedeng sabihin kay Gabby ang tungkol doon hangga't hindi naayos ang kaso. Marami pa ang kailangan asikasuhin.

The program started and Corbyn's dad made the welcoming speech.

"Our company is expanding, and soon we'll be producing more and more aircrafts..."
