"What do you mean you already knew?" She asked, her eyes wide and glimmering with tears as the water pour down on us.

Pinagiisipan ko muna ng mabuti whether or not I should tell her. Kaya lang baka magtaka siya. O baka naman lalo siyang lumayo.

But I didn't want to lie to her.

I looked at her in the eye and whispered softly. "I knew everything, baby. I knew it all along."

Nanlaki ang mga mata niya at agad lumayo sa'kin. She walked backwards until she reached the corner of the shower area like she was trying to hide herself.

"Gabby..."

She covered her face with her hands. "No, please, don't look at me."

I immediately stood up at lumapit sa kaniya to remove her hands from her face.

She tried fighting me as I held her wrist to uncover her face. "Gab."

"Don't." She tried to get away but I braced both of my hands on the wall on the either side of her, caging her in so she wouldn't be able to run away from me.

"I will always look at you no matter what." I coaxed her arms down.

Her head fell on my chest, shedding painful tears as she hid her face to me.

"Gabby, look at me." Hinawakan ko ang magkabilang pisngi niya para iharap siya sa'kin.

"No, I can't."

"You don't have to hide yourself from me. I love you, baby, nothing could ever change that." I whispered, pressing my forehead on hers so that I could look straight in her eyes.

She shut her eyes closed, shaking her head. "H-how? How can you still... say that?" She asked brokenly.

"Bakit hindi? May dapat bang magbago?"

"Madami!"

"Like what?"

She sighed, looking up as she avoided my gaze. "I'm not the same person you loved. I'm not her anymore because... because I'm... damaged already." Her voice hitched.

"No, don't say that. You're the same woman I loved. You're not damaged, baby. You're still the Gabby I know. But stronger. A lot stronger."

"I'm not strong, Mason. I'm far from it!"

"You are, Gab. Hindi ka aabot dito ngayon if you're not strong enough. You went through a lot but you got this far."

She shook her head, denying everything I just said. "I'm just pretending to be strong hindi mo ba nakikita?"

"Even if you are, you still got this far. Don't downplay your strength because you should be proud of yourself." I touched her cheek and kissed the top of her head.

She breathed heavily against me. The steam of the water from the shower was fogging the whole room, hazing my view of her face. "How can you still look at me? You should be disgusted, I'm... I'm... so filthy."

"Baby, you're not. 'Wag mong isipin 'yan because whenever I look at you I see the rest of my life in your eyes."

"Stop." She pushed me away, stepping out of my hold. "Stop saying things you don't mean!"

"I meant every words I say, Gab!"

"Talaga?" She laughed bitterly through the tears. "Tell me, do you still find me pretty after everything you've learned about me? Because I don't!"
