"Cowabonga dude! Yeah!" I cheered.
"What's WiFi?" My African friend bobo asked. His thick African accent always made me smile.

People Will definitely get offended by this because unintended or not, it's racist.
Do your research, get your facts right, describe the beauty of your characters and only after all that's done, you write your book. And stop with trying to making their nationality obvious in every sentence.
