Writers need to end this sick trend. Writing about a 16 year old girl kidnapped by a 30 year old man and then making her develop Stockholm syndrome is not attractive.

It goes against all laws of humanity. It's pedophilic. She's a minor so it's a rape of some sort, despite there being consent.
