Rushed Love Stories

Absolutely no build up.

Five seconds ago, I was reading a book about two people who meet on a phone call. Like she meant to call someone else and somehow, the network got mixed up and she called him instead. Each chapter is 200 words and it's a 70 chapters long book.

So it's written in a way that makes it seem they're on a call.

i.e

"Hey Dölerena."

"Hey Brett, won't Bridget be mad that you called?"

"What she doesn't know won't kill her."

Fin.

I'm not even in th 5th chapter yet and she's already mad at the fact that he mentioned another girl from his work place. The two characters have never even met before!

She doesn't even know anything about him and she's already in love?

WHERE IS THE BUILD UP???

I hate rushed stories. But alas, I will keep reading because I'm curious to how it's going to end.

Update, 20th may; So I finished the book and it turns out that the guy she'd been calling was Dylan O'Brien.

. . .

I give up.

I should've known. He kept on dropping hints like;

"The girls at my school keep saying I look like that stiles guy from teen wolf, I don't see it."
