Weird Names

This needs to stop.

Every writer wants a unique name that suits their MC. They either look up names on the internet or create one that absolutely no one can pronounce. (aka pulling an Elon Musk.)

We get that you're trying to stand out but no one wants to read a book that they're not able to pronounce the MC's name.

Alright, assuming you create a strange never before heard of name and include the pronounciation, it doesn't make things easier. Getting used to it won't be easy.

i.e

Viendrae - vee-en-dray

Dölerena - doo-ley-ree-nur

Fin.

Sometimes they don't even correspond to how it's pronounced.
