Y/n's pov.  

" Just as we expected " I said.

" But. . . . " Nicole holds Gene's arm as they both have a frown face.

" I'm sorry brother " Dante said.

" We have to stop it before the ceremony " Gene said.

" We need more time, the ceremony is in three weeks and we need more than three weeks Nicole, Maria wanted this, she wanted it to be quick with it " I said.

" No! " Nicole has tears gathered in her eyes.

" I'm sorry " Dante said.

" I need you to stay strong " I said.

Gene tried to calm her down when she starts to weep.

" I need you two to step away " I said.

The boys stood up and walk away as I take Nicole's hand.

" Hey " she continues to cry.

I slap her.

Her face whips to the side and she holds her cheek. She turns to me.

" You slapped me "

" Crying won't do anything " I said.

She puts her hand down.

" Why'd you do that? " she asked.

" It's because your letting Maria win " I said.

" What am I supposed to do? " She asked.

" Marry him " I said.

" Listen, marry him first, then I'll make my move " I said.

" And that is? " She asked.

" You'll see " I said.

" You've changed " she wipes her tears.

" When someone messes with you and your loved ones, you get them back " I said, she nodded.

" Is your cheek okay though, I've never slapped someone that hard " I panic, she chuckled.

" I'm fine " I sighed in relief. As she rub her cheek.

" It stings though " she chuckles.

" Just calm down and don't worry " I said.

" I just can't believe I'll be marrying my best friend " she said.

" Well, he's soon to be your husband now but we'll manage " I said.

She sighs.

" I hope so "

" Right now, let's just go and you will be with Dante for the rest of the time until the ceremony " I said.

" I just hope I don't make mistakes, what if Dante and I accidentally– "

" What did I say about worrying? " I asked.

" Not to " she said.

" Exactly, now let's go, the boys are waiting " I said, she nodded.

" I love your hairpin " she did, I chuckled.

" Dante gave it to me " I said, she smiles.

We both stood up and walk away from the garden. We're at garden that is in the forest, Dante, Gene, Nicole and I always hangs out here and this is where we're going to make plan, so far for the pass two months I've told them about Maria this is where we often go.
