Margery (Janes mom) POV
For the past 2 weeks Janes been acting very distant and strange, she's started walking to school and if there's anything about Jane that you should know that ever since she was a little girl she has always, and I mean always, refused to walk to school and that she only uses peanut butter on her toast not her eggs and bacon. So since Janes been acting I've decided to
1. Snoop Janes room
2. Bribe Elizabeth with chocolate
3.talk to Jane
Talking to Jane is my last option though because I doubt she'll actually talk to me however I do know she tells Elizabeth almost everything.

Janes POV
After school I walked up to Elizabeth's room, I know I'm gonna regret this later but I needed to tell someone about Catherine and I. I knocked on her door. "Come in!" She yelled and I opened her door "oh hey Jane, what's up" she said putting down her pencil.
"I- um- I-I I wanted to say sorry for threatening to get out your baby pictures 2 weeks ago." I said and I wasn't lying because I know how much she hates them.
"Oh. It's okay." She said
"Can I talk to you, it um won't take that long." I said she nodded her head and i sat on her bed
"So what wrong" she asks
"I-I." I paused and let a tear fall
"Jane what wrong, you can tell me, I won't tell." She said
I just held out my pinky and she linked her with mine. Pinky promises were always a big part life, first day of school, first time going on a scary roller coaster ride, getting on a plane, when I told Elizabeth I was gay, when I told her my crush.
"I-I... I have a girlfriend." I whisper in fear of Mom hearing and she looks at me shocked
"Who is it?!?!?" She whisper yells
"It's Catherine." I say
"How'd you tell her"
"T.G.G was trying to find out who my crush was and they found out."
"Have you kissed her yet?" She asks, I nod my head blushing and bitting my lip, she playfully pushes me gasping
"No you did not" she said
"Yes I did"
"OH MY GOD!!! Jane you had your first kiss, my big sister finally having her first kiss." Then mom walked in and I immediately tended up and scooted further away from the door
"What's all the shouting about" Mom asked
"Jessica Stanton got her belly button pierced." Elizabeth says quickly making up a lie
"Oh. Kids shouldn't be getting piercings that young. Well dinner will be fine in 10 minutes so downstairs in a few minutes ." She said and walked out
"Did she actually get her belly button pierced" I ask and Elizabeth nodded her head
"That's cool" I said and we continued talking about stuff till we had to be downstairs.

The next day after the kids left for school except Elizabeth
Margery POV
The kids had left for school and I opened Janes room, I looked everywhere for something, a clue to know why Jane was acting the way she was acting. But I found nothing. So time for part 2: bribe Elizabeth.
I knocked on her door to see she was doing the work she was supposed to be doing.
"Hey Beth" I say and she looks up
"Yeah"
"Have you noticed that Janes been acting different lately?"
"Yeah. Why?" She asked curiosity in her voice
"I was wondering if you knew anything," I said
She shook her head and started playing with her fingers something she did when she was lying
"Elizabeth don't lie to me."
"I-I'm not lying." She said rushed. Yep she was definitely lying
"Bethy if you tell me I'll buy you a whole chocolate cake." I said. Chocolate was her weakness and has been since she was 4
"An entire chocolate cake" she said
"An entire chocolate cake" I repeated
"She- she. She's gay." She said. I could feel hatred and anger rising
"She's what?" I say through gritted teeth
"Yeah." I nod and walked out into the garage and grabbed the boxes and went to her room and started packing her things. I refuse to have such an abomination in my house.

Elizabeth POV
Damn chocolate. I know what your think Elizabeth you little shit and yes I know that and I feel extremely bad. It was about 10 minutes till Jane got home everyone was already home, that's when Mom came in a grabbed my wrist
"Ow, Mom what are you doing" she threw me down on the couch
"You sit there till Jane gets home." She said. Oh no, what have I done.

10 minutes later
Janes POV
I walked with Catherine back to my house she doesn't live that far away from my house so she liked walking me home we stopped about a block away from my house and she pulled me in for a kiss. "I'll see you tomorrow mkay." I nod and walked the last block to my house.
I opened the door to see Mom and Dad and my sibling sitting down on the couch. Mom and Dads faces we're looking at me with stern looks in their faces while everyone else had a more scared look on their face
I looked at them weird "um. Hi, what's wrong?" I said kind of laughing and taking my shoes off.
"When we're you going to tell us you were gay" Henry said. I froze, wait how'd they find out, I never wrote about it in my journal and I have nothing in my room giving it aw- then I remember that I told Elizabeth yesterday. I looked at her tears forming in my eyes
"You told them?" I ask
"Jane I'm so sorr-" I cut her off
"What'd they do? Why did you tell them?" I ask him
"Mom bribed her with a whole chocolate cake." Thomas said
"A chocolate cake. Really Elizabeth, I trusted you! You promised me you wouldn't tell! Why'd you lie?!" I yell my voice slightly breaking every few words
"Jane, I didn't want to tell-"
"Then why'd you tell!"
"Jane it was an whole chocolate cake all to myself, I couldn't turn that down."
"Yes you could have. ITS A CAKE BESS! A CAKE OVER ME! WHAT THE HELL!" I yell
"You don't get a say in this you dyke." Dad said
"You're going to hell you piece of shit." Mom said, I looked at them
"Mom Da-"
"Don't call us that! You are not our child." Dad said, I felt my heart break, my parents, the people I loved and looked up to since I was little hated me.
"You can't live here anymore." Mom said her tone bitter I looked at her in shock
"What"
"I said get out you shit!" Mom said
I looked at Elizabeth and pointed to her
"a cake over me. Remember that." I said
Smack
I just got smacked. Like really hard I started crying even harder. "Get. Out" Dad said and I walked out slamming the door. Tears streaming down my face. I stopped walking for a second before pulling out my phone to call Catherine. She picked up after two rings
"Hey babe. What's up?" Catherine said
"Can I-I c-come over-r." My voice was shaking hell my whole body was shaking.
"Jane what happened?" Catherine said concern in her voice
"I-I need to c-come over-r"
"Jane where are you"
"F-five minutes away-y from-m your h-house."
" I'll be waiting outside my door" she said
"O-okay." I said and hung the phone
5 minutes later
I walked up to see Catherine sitting in front of her door once she sees me she runs towards me. She engulfs me in a hug and I start crying into her shoulder. She started whispering things into my ear "hey you're okay, you're okay." After I had calmed down she took me into her house and up to her room, I don't think her parents were home yet.
"Oh my god. Jane your cheek, what the hell happened" Catherine says going to touch the bruise.
"My mother" I pulled away and winced in pain
"Sorry" she said "wait what did your mom do?"she questioned. I felt the tears brimming in my eyes
"I told Elizabeth about us this morning and since she's homeschooled, my mom bribed her into telling her about why I've been being distant lately and she told her about us. And then she was calling me awful names and they said I wasn't apart of their family anymore and they kicked me out and now I have nowhere to go." I said tears falling down my face. Catherine pulled me in for a hug and I nuzzle my head into her shoulder.
"You can stay with me" she said smiling at me
"But I don't want to intr-"
"You need to stay here" she said cutting me off
"But what about your parents?" I asked wiping my face being careful of my cheek
"They know about us and they've loved you since I met you. They won't care," she said
"Thank you" I said
"You don't have to thank me, I'm just doing what a decent human being should do. Now I'm gonna go get you an ice pack, you can go into my closet if you want to pick out pajamas." She said
"But I've already been in the closet, I don't wanna go back in, I don't think my girlfriend would be very happy with me." I said smiling she laughed at me and walked out of her room to go get me and ice pack
5 minutes later
I was laying down in Catherine's bed when she came back with an ice pack and two water bottles.
"Cuddle?" I ask and she nods setting the water down on her nightstand. She got in bed behind me and put the ice pack on my cheek, I winced slightly but she kissed my hair and pulled me in for cuddles. And we just sat there and talked for a little before I started to fall asleep, as I was falling asleep Catherine said "I love you"
I mumbled a small "I love you too" before I fell asleep.
