J'Jaye POV
Nat smiles and I kiss her head, "where are you going again?" She asks and I grab my jacket,
"To my moms and then I'll be back." I say and she smiles,
"Okay, I love you." She says and I peck her lips,
"Love you too." I say and walk out the door and get in the car.
So the thing is that I'm not going to my moms but to Nats, I'm asking for Rhi-Rhi's blessing to ask Nat to marry me. I'm nervous but really excited, I've been wanting to ask Jane to marry me for a year but I just never did. That's all going to change soon, hopefully.
At Rhi-Rhi houseeee
I smile and sit across from Rhi-Rhi at the table. "So you said you had something to ask me right?" She asks and I nod feeling a little nervous, "ask away." She says and I smile,
"So you know have me and Natalie have been together for 4 years now. And, you know I love her with all of my heart. And, I-I want to spend the rest of my life with her. And, I was wondering if I have your blessing to ask Nat to marry me?" I say and Rhi-Rhi smiles,
"Of course you have my blessing. You've had it since the first day Nat came home and talked about you. She never stops." Rhi-Rhi says and I smile, "okay. So can I help you ring shop?" She asks and I giggle but nod,
"Definitely!" I exclaim and she smiles,
"Awesome. How's Sunday sound?" She asks and I nod,
"Perfect." I say and she smiles,
"Great." She says and I smile.
Sunday
"Babeeeeee. Why are you always leaving meeee?" Nat whines as she snuggles into my jumper,
"It's only for a few hours-"
"Hours?!" She exclaims and I nod,
"Yeah." I say and she whines,
"Who am I supposed to cuddle with?" She asks and I shrug,
"I dunno." I say and she glares,
"You're mean!" She exclaims and I laugh shaking my head, I peck her lips and she glares. "I want more than just a peck Ms. I'm leaving my girlfriend to go shopping instead of cuddling!" She exclaims and I kiss her, she kisses back and I pull away. "I hate you," she mumbles and I grab my keys,
"Sure you do." I say and walk out the door.
TWO WEEKS LATER
I smile holding Nats hand and we watch the sunset. "It's pretty," she whispers and my heart starts racing. I stand up and Nat looks at me, "watcha doin'" she asks and I grab her hands making her stand up. "You okay? Do you wanna go home?" She asks and I shake my head putting my hand in my pocket.
"You know I love you?" I ask and she nods,
"How could you not love someone as incredible as me?" She asks and we both giggle,
"I love you so so so much. And, I've realized over the past four years that there's no one who's made me smile the way you do, made me laugh the way you do, or make me feel like I'm a queen. You make sure that I'm always happy (why the flup did I write holy instead of happy?) and you noticed first thing when I'm sad or just not happy. And, I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather spend the rest of my life with-" I pause and pull out the box, I get down on one knee and Nat brings her hands to her mouth as she starts crying.
"O-oh my god." She whispers,
"So Natalie May Paris, will you marry me?" I ask and Nat nods her head.
"Mhm." She says and I smile, I stand up and she hugs me. She pulls away from the hug and I slip the ring on her finger. "It's so pr-pretty," she hiccups something that always happens when she cries.
"I love you," I whisper and Nat hiccups again.
"I love you too." She whispers and she kisses me, I kiss back and after a few seconds I pull away. "I-is this why you kept go-going our for hours?" She asks and I nod,
"Yeah." I say and she hugs me,
"I don't know what I would have done without you." She whispers and I smile and hug her back.
