Beach

Saragon parents to Anne and Kat. Anne is 8 and Kat is 7. Catherine is Mama and Jane is Mommy

Kat POV
I walked around the house looking for Annie, I was bored and wanted to play. I knock on Mommy and Mama's door. Mommy opened the door, "hey Kat what's up?"
"I can't find Annie."
"I think her and Mama went outside." Mommy says and she picks me up. She opened the sliding door to go outside, in the backyard. Anne and Mama were painting. Mommy sets me down and I run up behind Mama.
"Boo!" I yell and Anne jumped "got you Annie." I say
"You're mean," she says and dips her paintbrush in the green paint.
"Can I paint too?" I ask and Anne nods her head, she reached over and handed me a piece of paper. "Thanks Annie."
"Your welcome Kat" Mommy sits down next to Mama. I grab a paintbrush and start painting with the pink paint.
"Can birds be pink?" I ask and Annie nods.
"You guys want to go to the beach in a little?" Mommy asks
"Is it Auntie Aimie going?" I ask and Mommy nods "then I'll go."
"What about Millie, Anna, and Cathy?" Annie says and Mommy nods.
"And Gen and Gribby." Mama adds
"I don't know how to swim though." I say
"That's okay Kat we have life vests." Mama says and I give her a thumbs up.
"Annie you know how to swim?" Mommy asks and she nods, she smiles and holds up her painting, "there I'm done." She says and shows me. It was a yellow flower.
"Thats pretty Annie." I say looking at it closer.
"Thanks."
"Alright girls lets get your swim suits on." Mommy says and me and Annie run toward the door and  Annie pushes it open, I'm too little to reach it.
After we got dressed we drove to the beach.

At the beach
I was carrying a pink life vest and Annie was holding sunscreen. I saw a lot of people and I moved over to Mama "there's a lot of people." I say
"Yeah. But you'll be right by us the whole time." She says and I grab her hand. We were walking and then I saw Auntie Aimie and Millie walking towards us "you can go run over to them if you want guys." Mommy says and I ran to Aimie
"AUNTIE AIMIE!" I yell
"MILLIE!" Anne yells and Aimie picks me up while Millie picks up Annie.
"Hi Auntie Aimie."
"Hello Kat. Look so here's the game plan for you to come over tonight. Give Gribby your biggest puppy dog eyes and say 'please Gribby pleaseeee, okay."
"Okay." I say and she steals Annie
"Alright Annie when I say I need you to go over to Aunt Gen and say please Gen pleaseeeeee' okay" she says and Annie nods
"Millie! Catch me!" I say and jump into her arms
"Kat you've gotten so much taller since the last time I saw you."
"Millie, you saw me yesterday. And if I've gotten so much taller why can't I reach the door handle yet."
"You'll get there one day Kitty." Annie said. Aimie sets Annie down and Millie sets me down and I run over to Aimie
"Okay. On 3 go beg, One, Two, Three, Go!" Me and Annie run over to Genesis and Gribby. We started begging.
"So Gribby can I spend the night?" I ask smiling and he shakes his head 'no' I look over at Annie and she shakes her 'no' at me we back over to auntie Aimie, who was sitting with Jane and Catherine
"So what's the answer monkeys?"
"No." We say
"From both?" She asks and we nod, she flops down on the sand. And I laugh. "But why though, I'm nothing but good to them." She says and Gribby walks over
"You woke me up yesterday by spraying whip cream on my face."
"Yeah and you got a good treat didn't you?" She says
"You woke me up on Sunday by banging pots and pans all over the house."
"Yeah and I dried the dishes off on Sunday from banging the pots and pans."
"You painted on my face." Genesis says
"And you had a masterpiece on your face,"
"I had an allergic reaction to the paint."
"And, I got to take care of you and we cuddled. You love cuddles." Aimie says. Annie looks at Millie
"Are they always like this?" She asks and Millie nods.
"Hey you guys wanna go swim?" Mama asks and Anne nods, I look at Mommy.
"Come here Annie, you too Kat, you need sunscreen." Mama says and we both walk over. I jumped when Mama put it on my back.
"It's cold, like Annie's hands when she wakes up." I say and she laughs.

I run over to the water to go follow Auntie Aimie, "Kat wait you have to put on your life vest." Mommy says running over with the life vest.
"Oh. Sorry." I say and she helps me put it on.
"It's okay Kat, just remember to put this on before you go in the water." She says and finishes.
"Thank you." I say and Millie picks me up and walks towards auntie Aimie, she holds me then I felt something touch my leg, I jump and held on tighter to Millie.
"It's okay Kat it's just seaweed." And I nod my head (my cat just laid on top of my hand, she keeps walking in front of my phone screen, and I closed my eyes for a second and she tried to lick my eye lid open, I think I lost a couple eyelashes.) I look at the water and there were fish, "Millie look, fish." I say pointing
"Here comes a little wave Kat." She says and the wave goes up to my stomach.
"It's cold." I say and Millie nods, she hands me to Aimie.
"I have no more ideas on how to get them to let you stay the night."
"Annie said to build them a sand castle." I say and she smiles
"That's a very good idea but we need more." She says. Ice cream.
"What about ice cream."
"Yes! You're a genius." She says and I look to say a big wave.
"Aimie, there's a huge wave coming." I say
"Plug your nose like this-" she shows me "and close your eyes," she says and I nod and do what she says and the wave comes over us. The wave passes.
"Woah! That was so cool." I say.
"AIMIE ALLEN ATKINSON DON'T DO THAT WITH MY DAUGHTER!" I heard Mama yell and she laughs.
"YES YOUR MAJESTY!" She yells back.
"And, this Aimie is the reason we aren't letting you take Kat home." Gen says and kisses Aimie
"Yuck!" I say and cover my eyes and they laugh at me.

After the beach, they've been home for like an hour now
"Mommy, Mama." I say and they look at me "can we paint again?" I ask
"Maybe tomorrow Kat, it's time for bed okay?" Mama says and I nod.
