Talent show

For this story we are gonna pretend that Elvis Presley didn't write Can't Help Falling In Love. Parr and Jane are together, Anna and Kitty are together, and Anne and Catherine are together.

4 weeks away from talent show
Cathys Pov
I walked into school, coffee in my hand. I was wearing a baby blue sweater (jumper) and black jeans. I walked into drama to see T.G.G (yes I'm keeping the name from the list cause I can't think of what else to call them) throwing paper at each other "guys it's to early for this, why are we doing this?" I ask sitting next to Jane leaning my head on her shoulder
"Annie started it last night. I told her to put that stupid piece of paper in her bag, but she threw it at me instead. I declared war and I'm not backing down" Kitty said
"But why are Anna and Catherine doing it?" I ask
"Cause we're really bored and Ms.Mouat isn't here yet." Catherine said getting up to grab more paper. They're a bunch of children. I'm really grumpy because I didn't sleep last night, I was too busy writing a song.
"You okay Cathy?" Jane asks rubbing my back I shook my head 'no.' "What wrong love?"
"I didn't sleep last night cause I was writing and this morning William wouldn't quit trying to annoy me, so I yelled at him and he didn't quit so I threw one of his toys at him, I wasn't thinking and now I can't have my guitar back till Thursday. And they messed up my coffee order. Twice!" I complained. Jane just pulled me into her lap and started rocking me, no I'm not a baby, she just does this on my bad days cause she knows I like to be held. I sighed and started playing with a piece of Janes hair
"I'm sorry you've had a rough start this morning but maybe you could come over today after school and you can try to sleep at my house." She said I just nodded and layed my head on her chest, that was until Ms.Mouat walked in and made me sit next to Jane.

Lunch time
We were all sitting down at the table. Jane had went to go get me and her something to drink and I just there staring at the tile on the floor.
"Cathy why are you staring at the tile?" Anna asked
"Because I'm try to figure out if it's supposed to be a square or a diamond." I said
"It's a diamond" "It's a square" Anne and Kitty said at the same time.
"Uh oh" Catherine said
"Here we go" I said. Lying my head down on the table. And like that Kitty and Anne had declared war.
I felt someone rubbing my back, I looked up (and the town had its eyes on meeee) to see Jane holding a coffee, I took it and put my head back on the table. My head was pounding.
"Love, what wrong?" Jane asked
"My head is pounding and I feel like I could start yelling any minute," I grumbled
"Guys can we not fight right now, maybe talk about something, maybe the talent show?" Jane said. I grabbed her hand and squeezed it twice, she squeezed back.
"I'm gonna do it with Anna." Kitty said and Anna nodded her head
"What are you guys gonna do," Anne asked, for once curiosity in her voice
"We're gonna sing 'breathe' from in the heights" Anna said smiling her and Kitty holding hands. I grabbed my coffee. Coffee is love, coffee is life and no one can tell me otherwise.

"Me and Cath were going to sing 'you shine' from Carrie," I nodded and Jane pulled me in for a hug obviously seeing the look of discomfort on my face. My head was pounding and my ears were starting to hurt a little.
"You wanna do the talent show with me Cathy?" Jane asked kissing my head. Yes! This is the perfect way to get her to hear my song for her.
"Sure." I said
"What are we gonna do?" She asks
"That song that I was working on is almost done, maybe we could sing that." I said and she nodded her head and then the bell rang making everyone jump, Kitty fell on the floor because she was so scared.
"I'm gonna kill that goddam bell" kitty and I said at the same time.

After school
Jane and me were in her car driving to her house. I had called my mom so she knew I was going to Janes for a little bit. We walked in, Henry and Thomas were having a chugging competition and then they ate pickles covered in chocolate. "why must you always be so disgusting" Jane said
"Hellooo Cathy," Thomas said. He had a crush on me. Jane and I knew that and it honestly made me uncomfortable
"She has a girlfriend who just so happens to be standing right here." Jane said bitterly taking my hand and pulling me upstairs. She shut her door and pulled out her homework.
"Cathy if you want you can have some clothes and you take a nap, I'm gonna get started on my homework." Jane said putting on her reading glasses I nodded my head and stole a sweatshirt and a pair of sweatpants. Once I was done changing I got under Janes covers, holding on to one of her stuffed animals I nuzzled my head into her pillow and fell asleep.
