Cathy POV
I was sitting down on the couch trying to work, "Cathyyyy" Jane whines and lays down next to me, Kat was sleeping.
"Yessssss?" I ask and she smiles at me,
"Can we cuddle?" She asks,
"In a few minutes I'm trying to work" I say and she pouts,
"We can cuddle while you work," she says and I shake my head.
"Just 5 more minutes," I say and she grabs a blanket,
"Please?" She asks and I shake my head,
"Jane, I promise 5 more minutes." I say and she sighs, she walks behind me and covers my eyes, I groan. "Janeeee, I have to finish this." I say and she uncovers my eyes,
"Can we cuddle then?" She asks and I shake my head, "Cathyyyy, please. I just wanna cuddle!" She exclaims,
"I know but if I cuddle with you I'm not gonna finish." I say and put my hands on the couch, she walks and stands in front of my computer. "Jane!" I exclaim and she shakes her head,
"I'm not moving until you cuddle with me" she says and I stand up,
"Jane that's not fair! I need to work!" I say and she gives me a look,
"You're a writer you can seriously write at any hour of any day," she says and I groan I try to grab my computer but she swats my hands away.
"Jane! What the hell!" I shout and she picks me up, I try to move her hands away and she doesn't let go. "Jane! Let me go!" I shout and she walks up the stairs, "Jane, seriously put me down!" I exclaim and she lays me down on the bed, I try to sit up but she pushes me back down.
"Stop, just let me cuddle with you." She says and I shake my head,
"Jane I have work to do, I can't cuddle right now." I say and she kiss me, I start kissing back and she pulls away. I smile at the feeling of her hands on my waist,
"Will you cuddle with me now?" She asks and I shake my head,
"Jane I really have to finish this chapter. Then I promise I'll cuddle with you," I say and she groans and flops on the bed.
"I hate you sometimes y'know?" She asks and I nod, I kiss her jaw and walk downstairs. I grab my computer and start writing again.
1 hour later
Right so about cuddling with Jane, it didn't happen. I continue writing and Jane walks down the stairs. "Cathyyyyyyyy, I wanna cuddle" she says and I sigh, I wanna cuddle with her but I hate not finishing a chapter I feel like it messes everything up.
"Let me finish this chapter" I say and she sighs, she crawl under my arm and stands up so that she was blocking my computer screen. "Jane, please just this chapter" I say and she shakes her head. I groan and pull my hand away from the computer, "it was only gonna take 5 minutes" I say and she gives me that look again.
"You said that last time and it's been an hour, you finished that chapter and started a new one. Even after you promised that you would cuddle with me and then you lied and continue writing" she says sounding upset,
"Please don't be upset with me," I say and she sighs.
"Cathy, you know how I feel about promises. If you aren't going to keep them then don't promise me stuff" she says and runs her fingers through her hair flipping it to the side of her head.
"I'm sorry, but I wanna finish the chapter. Please Jane" I say and she shakes her head,
"If you wanna finish the chapter you can do it while I'm cuddling with you" she says and I sigh and frown a little bit, I'm not gonna end up finishing the chapter.
"Janeeeeee" I whine
"Cathhhyyy" she says and I sigh,
"It's five minutes, just five more minutes" I say and she shakes her head and moves closer to my lap. She straddles me and I put my hands on her hips,
"If you have five minutes it's gonna turn into 5 hours." She says and I sigh, she kisses me and I smile into the kiss. She pulls away and stares at me "you have five minutes as soon as I set the timer, then we're gonna cuddle outside. Kat is gonna wake up soon anyway so we can take her outside" she says, Kat was our kid and she was 4 1/2 months old, she was cute and adorable and I love her.
"Thank you!" I exclaim, and she gets up and hands me my laptop and pulls out her phone.
"Five minutes go." She says and I start typing.
5 minutes later
Her alarm goes off as I start to type the last word. "Alright you're done!" Jane says holding Kat in her arms, I finish typing the last word and stand up. She hands me Kat and I smile as Kat starts laughing, I make a silly face and she starts laughing again.
"Aww, I love her little laugh" I say and Jane smiles, she kisses Kat head. Kat holds her arms up,
"Hi baba" Jane says and Kat smiles,
"Mmmmmmm" Kat says,
"Mama" Jane says and Kat smiles. "Come on let's go outside" Jane says and we walk outside.
An hour later
Kat fell asleep on my chest and Jane was cuddling by my side. She carefully runs her finger against Kats cheek and Kat opens her eyes, "Hi baba" Jane says and Kat closes her eyes again,
"Someone's tired" I say and she nods,
"She's always tired, just like you" Jane says and I laugh a little bit,
"I'm not thaaat tired" I say and she kisses my cheek,
"Yes you are," she says and I shake my head "you fell asleep under the table" she says and I smile and nodded
"Yeah but that was last week. I'm not tired this week" I say and she shakes her head
"Yes you are, you fell asleep when you were helping me make dinner" Jane says and Kat moves her hand, Jane brings her finger to Kats hand and Kat hold on. "I love you guys" I say and I smile,
"I love you too. And, this little monkey" I say and Kat opens her eyes,
"Nuv moo" she mumbles and I look at Jane shocked, I sit up and lay Kat down on my legs.
"Did she just say love you?" I ask and Jane nods,
"I think so" she says and she runs Kats stomach making Kat giggle, Jane grabs her phone and starts recording Kat. "I love you Kat" Jane says,
"Nuv moo" she says and I cross my eyes making Kat laugh. Jane points the camera to me, I smile.
"Love you KitKat" I say and Kat smiles
"Nuv!" She exclaims and I giggle.
