Joannnnn because she da besttttt. Joan is 13. Can someone tell me the ships that involve Joan?
Joan POV
I sit down next to Ms. Jodie, I lived at an orphanage and she ran it. She smiles at me, "Joan, guess what's happening?" She asks and I shrug, she was the only person that was nice to me here. "The Six the musical cast is holding a competition so that they can meet someone." She says and I smile,
"Really?" I ask
"And, all you have to do is send in a video of you either singing or something that's kinda in the realm of musical theatre." She says, and I smile.
"So I could play piano?" I ask and she nods, "am I allowed to send in a video?" I ask and she nods,
"I'll even send it to them for you." She says and I nod, she takes my hand and we walk into the room where instruments were. She sets up her phone, "come get me when you're done." She says and walks out shutting the door. I press the button so that it started recording, I wave at the camera smiling.
"Hi, I'm Joan and I'm 13, I really love six and hope one day I'll be able to play piano for the show. I don't have any friends and Six really makes me happy, I'm gonna play She Used To Be Mine from Waitress. Oh, I play piano by the way." I say, I grab my sheet music and start playing. When I finish, I look at the camera and smile, I wave bye and stop recording. I walk out with Ms. Jodies phone and hand it to her,
"Thank you." She says and I nod,
"I'm gonna go learn my new song. I'll see you later Ms.Jodie," I say and she gives me a small wave goodbye. I sit down at the piano, I've been playing piano for a really long time and I like to think I was really good.
3 weeks later
Jane POV
"Guys I'm not even joking, I'm seriously about to kill my song after all of this," I say and everyone laughs at me,
"Another one for Heart of Stone." Anne says and I groan,
"Why, why, whyyyy?" I ask and Cathy kisses my head,
"You're gonna be fine Jane. Plus think about how happy we'll make someone if we end up choosing them."
"Hey, here's one that finally not a song from six" Kat says and we all move so we could look at her computer screen. There was a girl, she had green eyes and blonde hair that was in two French braids (I think some people call them plaits but I dunno)
"Hi," she says waving at the camera, I smile "I'm Joan and I'm 13. I really love six and hope that one day I'll be able to play piano for the show. I don't have any friends and six makes me really happy. So, I'm going to play She Used To Be Mine from waitress. I play piano by the way." She says and she leans over and grabs some sheet music, she starts playing. I immediately fell in love with it, she played it so easily and showed emotion while playing. Once she finishes she looks at the camera waves, then the video ends.
"That was amazing." Me and Cathy day at the same time, and everyone nods in agreement. I grab the notebook, "I'm writing her name down." We use this notebook to put together the performances we really liked and then we were gonna pick from a hat.
One week later
Kat sets up the phone so that we could pick out the name from the hat. "Helloooo" I say as people start joining, we answer a few questions till a lot of people show up.
"Alright so how this works is we will be picking a name from a hat." Anne starts
"Once we pick a name we will send you everything you need to know and we will be paying for you to come see the show." Kat says
"And if you need a plane ticket to come see, we can help pay for that." Catherine says
"You will be spending 4 days with us" Cathy says
"And, Janes going to get emotionally attached" Anna says and I hit her,
"I am not!" I exclaim,
"Owww. I take it back. Um, if you get picked I'm gonna get cake, and NO ONE is stealing it from me!" Anna exclaims and I roll my eyes,
"Anyway we're gonna pick on of our names out of this hat so we decide who gets to pick the name." Cathy says,
"And it better be me." Anne says and I shake my head,
"Nu-uh it's gonna be me." I say and Kat holds the hat, she shakes it up and pulls out a name,
"It's Jane." Kat says showing the camera, I point my finger at Anne.
"I told you." I say and Catherine hands me the hat, I shake it and pick a name. Joan. "It is... drum roll please." I say and everyone gives me a drumroll, "Joan!" I say
"Joan if you are on here just say it. We know you sent the video from a girl named Jodie so just say if you're here or not" Cathy says
Joan POV
"It is... drum roll please." Jane starts, I looked up to her a lot, I hoped it was me. My heart starts beating really fast, Ms. Jodie was in the kitchen and I was looking on her phone "Joan!" Jane says, wait. OH MY GOD! I open the music room door
"I won!" I yell at Ms. Jodie and she runs over,
"Um Joan if you are here just say it, we know you sent this from a girl named Jodie." Cathy says and I type 'I'm here' they look at the comments,
"There she is. Alright she's here. Um can we add you in the live?" Kat asks and I request, Kat adds me and I was smiling.
"Well would you take a look at those green eyes. They're absolutely stunning" Anne says,
"Thank you." I say, I was in the music room
"How are you feeling?" Anna asks and I squeal,
"More happy than I've been since I was 3" I say and they all smile and aw
"Awww, that's so cute." Jane says and I look away for a second, I wipe away a tear from happiness.
"Oh my gosh." I say, I can't believe I'm actually here talking to them. They're seriously talking to me and giving me compliments.
"So why don't you just tell us a bit about yourself."
"Um, I'm Joan, I'm 13 and I love six." I say and Kat smiles
"Well, we cant wait to meet you." Cath says,
"I mean as long as she doesn't steal my cake I'm fine." Anna says and I laugh, Cathy puts a hand in her heart.
"Guys, I can only handle so much cuteness from people in one day." Cathy says and pretends to faint into Janes arms. Jane wraps her arms around Cathys waist and kisses her head, Kat does the same things to Anna,
"You guys are so cute that's it revolting. Absolutely revolting." Kat says and I laugh, Ms. Jodie walks back into the kitchen,
"Alright, so we have to leave but we will send you all of the information that you need." Cathy says looking at her watch,
"Okay." I say and they all smile,
"Bye Joan." They all day waving,
"Bye." I say and the live ended, i just won that competition. I'm going to be spending four entire days with them.
Heyyyyyyyy, imma make part 2 so yeah, I'm gonna go write the next chapter for fireflies are fairies (chapter 11).
Random Fact: I HaTe HaTe HatE dresses put me in one I'm not gonna talk to you for dayyyyyssss.
