Fireflies Are Just Fairies

I'm moving my authors note up here for this chapter. Did anyone else get told that fireflies/lightning bugs were just fairy in hiding. Just me? Okay. In this story Kitty is 14 and Anne is 16 and Imma make Jane and Catherine 29. Anne and Kitty are both maids of honor for Jane because I can't just pick one of them. This is a chapter I like to call "you're gonna out floof yourself" because I've read so much floof in the past 2 hours that my heart can't handle it. Are you Ready? Here we go.

Jane POV
Today was the day, I was gonna marry Catherine, I was nervous but I was excited. I was sitting on a chair getting my hair curled, and Kitty walked in with Anne after coming back from Catherine's room. "Hey. How's she doing?" I ask
"Good, she said she's really nervous," Kitty answers
"But she said she was so excited and happy to finally get to marry you," Anne added, I nodded my head. My leg started bouncing up and down.
"Mom calm down everything's gonna be fine." Kitty said grabbing my hand and holding it. Anne walked up behind kitty and whispered something in her ear "oh yeah!" Kat said and they grabbed a box and handed it to me.
"What's this?" I ask
"It's a pre-wedding gift."
"We thought we could give it to you before your wedding, thinking it may calm some nerves you have" kitty said. I opened it, it was a collage of pictures of me, Kitty, Anne, Mary, and Catherine, I smiled at it
"It's so beautiful." I say running my fingers over the glass
"We thought maybe you could hang it up somewhere in the new house." Anne said and I nod my head
"Alright girl we're gonna move Jane over to make up with Millie. And you two were gonna get started with your hair." Natalie said. The girls sat in the chairs "Maiya, can you start doing Anne's hair?" Natalie called and Maiya ran over.

After hair and makeup
I smiled at my dress, it was just perfect (just imagine what the dress looks like) kitty and Anne walked in "oh my gosh Mom you look so pretty!" Kitty said
"Pretty? Kitty she looks like a forking goddess" Anne said. Substitute swearing, something Catherine installed in their brains as soon as she met them.
"Stop you're gonna make me cry and I haven't even seen Catherine yet." I said and they smiled, and then my older brother Edward walked in,
"You ready? It's time to walk down the isle." He said, I shook my head 'no'
"Mom you're gonna be fine" Kat said and Anne nodded they hugged me and walked away to go fine Anna and Cathy, the people they'd be walking with.
"Now, Jane, I expect you guys to adopt a baby boy and if he doesn't have a name, name him Edward so I have someone who's named after me." He says and I laugh at him
"I guess we'll have to wait and see then won't we." I say, and that's when the music started.

Catherine POV
I stood there waiting for Jane. The music started and everyone stood up, I let out a shaky breath. The doors opened and Jane walked in with her brother, oh my goddess, Anne was right she looked like a forking goddess. Jane made her way up to the stairs and smiled at me "you look like a goddess." I whisper
"You know everyone keeps telling me that and I'm starting to think that they may be thinking of the wrong person, cause the real goddess is in front of me." She whispered, I start blushing.
(Right so I don't know how wedding work, I haven't been to one in like a really long time and every single time I go to one I zone out and don't remember anything. So we're gonna skip to vows, okay let's go.)
"Jane where do I even start. I love you from the bottom of my heart, to the stars and back, you make me smile and laugh, and when I'm not with you it's like I don't know who I am, you've changed me so much, and I love you for it. You're such a great mother to Kitty and Anne, and even though Mary didn't trust you at first, you somehow managed to make her love you in a matter of days. You always know what to say, when to say it or how to say it. You understand people and can just tell what's wrong with them just by looking at them. There are so many things I could list about you, every little detail I loved but I think that we would be here for hours. I just wanted to promise you that I won't hurt you. And, that I'm gonna spend every millisecond loving you." I say and she had tears going down her cheeks and I wipe them away
"Jane" the priest says
"Wow. Catherine, when I first met you, I knew you were the one for me, even Kitty, who was only 11 at the time said to me before bed 'mommy I think she's the one for you' "
"That's right I most certainly did say that." Kitty interjected and some people laughed
"When I first met Mary she didn't like me but I changed her mind, she was 13 and said 'you're the one for my mom don't break her heart' " Mary nodded her head "and I promised I wouldn't, and now that we're here just makes me smile, I never imagined that I was gonna get married to someone let alone the greatest person alive. Catherine you make me smile, you make me laugh, you know when I need space or when I just want to cuddle. You know how to calm me down. You know how to be patient with me or the girls. And, I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather spend the rest of my life with." Jane said an dI wiped my tears away
"Do we have any objections to this marriage" no one did anything "alright, Jane repeat after me. I Jane Seymour,"

"You may now kiss your bride" he says and I pull Jane in for a kiss and everyone cheers and we walk together to the after party

Kitty's POV
Anne held my hand, we were waiting for Mary to finish up her speech so that me and Annie could go, she handed me the piece of paper we had written it down on. Mary finishes her speech and everyone cheers. We got handed microphone Annie said thank you and we stood looking at Mom
"Hi, as most of you know I'm Kitty"
"And I'm Anne"
"And when I was 4 and Annie was 6, we got told that fireflies are just fairies in hiding."
"We has gotten adopted about a week ago and every night we had been staying up late watching tinker bell and then watching fireflies trying to catch them. And kitty asked the question" she paused letting me say the question
"Why do fireflies glow?"
"And Jane told her" Mary walked up behind Anne and very badly put a blonde wig on her head "fireflies are just fairies in hiding" she said putting on her best Mom voice
"She said"
"Now you can't tell anyone else because then the fairies will disappear and go away forever."
"She also said"
"One day you'll meet a fairy, this fairy will be the person you're meant to spend the rest of your life with." And Anne threw the blond wig on Mary's head and we laughed
"So what we're trying to say is we think Mom has found her fairy."
"Her soulmate if you will" Anne said
"Now Miss. Catherine Seymour-Aragon, you be good to my mother, or else you'll have to turn back into a firefly and never come back." Me and Annie both say pointing our fingers at Catherine
"I've always been good to your mother and that not about to change!" She yelled. We laughed and everyone smiled as me, Anne, and Mary walk off the stage together.

Jane POV
I actually remember when I told Kitty that, she was shocked and ran around the yard trying to catch trying to find tinker bell. I laughed at her while Anne chased her trying to help. Kitty and Anne hugged me Catherine "you guys forgot something in your speech."
"We did?"
"You forgot the part where you and Anne spent an hour and a half trying to catch one so you could talk bro tinkerbell." Kitty started laughing
"I remember that. I spent 30 minutes chasing Kat trying to stop but then just ended up helping her"
"Yeah and then when Anne tried to catch one she ended smashing it in her hands" (this actually happened to me when I was like 3 and this is now the reason I refuse to touch any type of bug)
"Ewwwww." Mary said
"I know, then I spent 10 minutes crying cause I felt bad"
"Awwww." Catherine said
"Yeah and then Anne slept in my bed for a week." Kitty said
"And I have all the pictures from each morning I found you guys sleeping." I said grabbing my phone
"Noooo. We don't need 6 year old Anne bed head." Anne said
"But we do." I said showing Catherine
"Awwwww. Anne look at your bed head. And Kitty hugging you like your a stuffed animal." She cooed
"We don't talk about 6 year old Annie bed head, it was not a good look."
"Yeah but what about 16 year old Anne bed head?" Mary asked, me and Kat started laughing
"Each time she wakes up looking like a different animal, todays was a shark" kitty said
"I said we don't talk about my bed head." Anne said we all laughed

After after party
Me and Catherine leave for our honeymoon tomorrow at 6:30. Kat ended up falling asleep on top of Mary and Anne fell asleep on the way back home. Cath was waking up Anne she sat up her bed head was starting to form "predictions for Anne's bed head tomorrow?" I ask
"I say a squirrel" Cath said
"No it's gonna be a bee" Mary argued waking Kat up
"Guys it's gonna be a rat," I say Kat looks at Annie
"No you guys are dumb, look at her hair,see how it's going up, it's gonna be a giraffe." She said
"Can we stop making predictions about my bed head." Anne said and walked inside with her and Kats picture everyone else getting presents from the guests.
"Who ever wins tomorrow gets a dollar from each person" I said and we all nodded and Anne groaned walking into her new bedroom, flopping on her bed.
"Goodnight Annie" we all yelled
"Night!" She yelled back
Everyone changed into pajamas and fell asleep.
My perfect family, I got a text from Edward

Eddie: remember baby boy, name him Edward.
I rolled my eyes and Catherine pulled me in closer
"I love you Jane Seymour-Aragon" she mumbled into the back of my neck
"I love you more" I said and we fell asleep
Next morning
We had waken everyone up and walked into Anne's room.  She looked up and sat up
"Ha! I win give me your money!" Kat yelled we each handed her money.
