In a world where you can't see color until you find your soulmate.
Katherine Howard, a 15 year old who still hadn't found her soulmate, she was quite, shy, not very outgoing, unless she was around her friends, if you had to do anything that involved people she just preferred to stay in her room. Katherine loved music. All of Katherines friends had found their soulmates and had dyed the end of her hair the color 'pink.' She had no idea what it looked like, she just hope it looked good.

Anna Cleves, a 15 year old girl, who like Katherine, hadn't found her soulmate, she was loud and chaotic, she was very outgoing, she loved meeting new people and was always up for an adventure. Anna friends had found their soulmates. A new adventure she was looking forward to was moving.

Two completely different people. But, opposites attract right? But both thought that black and white was getting really boring.

Kats POV
I was lying in my bed looking at the ceiling, then at my walls, Anne said they looked good but it's my sister so she could always be lying.
"Night Kat." Anne said opening my door
"Night." I mumble back. She closed my door, I look out the window, I wonder what color everything is. I grabbed my blanket and fell asleep.

Anna POV
"Anna would you mind grabbing the last few boxes?" Mom said
"Sure" I said and ran back upstairs. They were in my room, I look around wondering which colors they are. I grab it and walked down the stairs. "Do you think I'll go to the same school as my soulmate?" I ask Dad
"Maybe Anna, I guess we'll find out soon enough." He says and I nod my head. I grab my blanket, phone and headphones and we started driving to our new house.

Kat POV
"Kat get up. Please wake up your sister." Mom said and I got up.
"Okay." I say rubbing my eyes. I grab my slippers and get ready for another day without color. I went downstairs to see our sister, Mary, drinking tea. I opened the fridge and grab the eggs, water, and flour. "Kat are you making cake?" She asks
"No. I'm waking Anne up."
"But why with that."
"She did it to me a week ago."
"Fair. I have to go I'll see you later."
"Bye" and she left. I grab the water gun fill it up with water and run upstairs to Anne's room.
I slowly opened the door and started spraying Anne with water she woke up, I grab a handful of flour and throw it in her face, grabbing an egg, I smash it in her face. She looked at me with her mouth hanging open. "Morning Annie." I look at her clock "you better get in the shower cause we leave in 20 minutes for the bus."
"Katherine Marie Howard, I'm going to kill you!"
"Good luck!" I yell and ran to my door locking myself in. Anne started pounding on the door. I got dressed in the outfit Mom helped me pick out the night before, she said it was a pale pink sweater (jumper) and black jeans with black combat boots. I unlock my door, but knowing Annie she'll break in and attack me, so I open my window and climbed out. I shut my window and saw Catherine looking confused. "Why the hell are you going out of your window?!" She yelled and went to help me get off the ledge of my window, I let go of my window ledge and land on the ground.
"Let's just say, I woke Anne up in a not so nice way."
"Katherine Marie Howard what did you do?"
"Why must everyone say my middle name?" I ask and we ran to the bus stop after hearing Annie slamming doors in the house.

Anna POV (I'm sorry if it's annoying that I keep switching the POV's)
We arrived at our new house around midnight, my bed was already set up, sheets and everything which was nice. I had woken up ready for school around 7:00 and I ran to the front door "Bye Mom! Bye Dad!" I yell
"Bye Anna! Remember stop at the office as soon as you get there." Mom yelled and I nod my head and walk out the door. I got on the bus, I saw a blonde girl she seemed nice and there were no more open seats. "Hey can I sit here?"
"Yeah of course." She said and moved over. I held out my hand.
"I'm Anna, Anna Cleves"
"Jane Seymour" she said shaking my hand.

After the ride to school.
"So have you met your soulmate yet?" I ask Jane
"Yeah, I met her in grade 2"
"Your really lucky. What does is it look like?" I ask
"It looks... magical"
"I can't wait till I find mine. Well I have to go to the office, I'll see you later." I say and wave.

I walk into the office. "Hi." The lady at the desk says
"Hi. I'm Anna Cleves, I'm supposed to come here to get my schedule." I say and she hands me papers and tells me how to get to my locker. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." I say and went to my locker.

Kats POV
I sat in my first hour class Language Arts with Mr. Tudor "alright class this project is very simple, just take your blue pencil and out line where the thesis is. Take your red pencil and outline the evidence that supports the thesis. After you will fill out this paper to fill out a secret message, make sure you use the correct colors." He says and I raise my hand, I was the only one in this class who couldn't see color yet. "yes Katherine."
"It's Kat Mr. Tudor and what if we can't see color yet?" I ask. He starts laughing
"Don't colored pencils have labels?"
"No Mr. Tudor, they stopped doing that."
"You should have found your soulmate sometime around last year. Maybe you just don't have one." I look down at my pencil box don't cry Kat, you have a soulmate, they're out there somewhere.
"You know, never mind I'll figure it out myself." I say and put my feet on the seat. He picks someone to pass out papers. They set the papers down on my desk and pulls out my color pencils and holds them up, I look at them, Jane, I forgot she had this class with me. "This is ones blue and this ones red." She said and hands me the paper.
"Thanks Jane."
"That's what cousins are for Kat." She says and ruffles my hair. I laugh at her. And grab the one Jane said was blue and started outlining the thesis.

After third hour class, meaning it's time for lunch
I was walking back from French to my locker when suddenly everything got really bright. What the fuck I thought and I set my stuff down and just sat down on the stairs, my head was starting to hurt. What is going on and then everything was full of color. I grab my hair, it was the first thing I wanted to see, I pull it out of the ponytail I had it in. Annie was right, it looked awesome. I started crying, I was so happy. I look around for my soulmate,
"WHO ELSE JUST SAW COLOR?" I hear a girl yell. I look towards her not caring about my stuff and I ran towards her, "me! I did!" I say and jumped into her arms, she caught me, I wrapped my legs around her waist and my arms around her neck she held me close. I was crying into her shoulder, I left my head up,
"You look so pretty." She says and wipes my tears away. I laugh
"Says you. I'm Katherine Howard, but please call me Kat." I say
"Well Kat, I'm Anna. I don't have a nickname so maybe you can give me one." She says and sets me down. I hug her tighter.
"Oh you look so much prettier than I imagined." I say and she laughs
"What did you imagine me to look like?" She asks
"A huge troll who lived under a rock." I say jokingly and she laughs
"Same here." And the lunch bell rings.
"You gotta meet my friends they're gonna freak. One second, I have to go get my stuff." I say and ran back to the stairs, then back to Anna.

We stopped at both of our lockers got our lunches and sat at the table.
"Hi Anna." Jane says
"Hey." She says and sits down to me.
"Annie." I say
"Huh?" She asks, and takes a drink of her water
"You were right, pink does look good on me." I say smiling and she nearly spits out her water
"You found them!!??" She yells slightly
"Yeah. Her names Anna Cleves and she's sitting right next to me." I say and grab Anna hand and smile.
"Oh my gosh, I was gonna kill you-"
"Woah woah woah. Wait a minute." Jane says and I start giggling
"I may or may have not shot Annie with a water gun, threw flour at her, and cracked an egg on her head." Anna starts laughing.
"Don't forget you left me with 20 minutes to get ready and take a shower and put my sheets in the washer."
"So that why you came out of your bedroom window this morning." Catherine says and I nod.

Everyone got along with Anna, I'm so glad that I finally found her, black and white was getting boring.
