Jungkook was sitting on the staff dining table where most of our work stations were situated these days. I was in the kitchen putting the kettle on so we could have some tea.

"What even is all these?" Jungkook yelled from the other room.

I was searching for some tea cups. "Most of them are Namjoon's," I replied shifting through the cupboard. "Ah, there they are."

I took them out and went to set them on the table where Jungkook cleared a little space to have tea on. "Ah! You shouldn't have touched those." Moonbyul had put all those records in some order on the table. She was overworked as it was with new guests arriving.

"Sorry," he mumbled. "What are these?"

"Records. We were trying to see if anyone had developed a similar pattern of symptoms as Tae." I said as I went back to get the kettle.

"I saw his neck that day. He was definitely bitten." I poured us tea and sat down.

"You think the same happened to Jimin?" He questioned, sipping on his tea.

I took my cup and looked at him. I was excited to tell him this. "Well, Joonie had this idea. Venom is almost always deadly to humans. Barely anyone turns. So, Joon wondered if it was the same for vampires. Or if vampires are immune to their venom." It made sense when Joon explained it. It wasn't unreasonable to assume that vampires would not die of a product of their own body.

Jungkook was silent for a while, quietly drinking his tea. "So you think Jimin removed the venom from Taehyung and that he is a vampire or that Taehyung is a vampire who got bitten again?"

What? "Sometimes, you are really dumb." I glared at him.

"Yeah, the first option. I realized how dumb the second was halfway through saying it."

"It's not," I said.

"Joon had been on about how it might be like in snakes. That when the venom does get into the blood it might still be poisonous, but that the GI tract of vampires are able to fight against it. Unlike in snakes, vampire fangs are inside the mouth. Um, Joon made more sense that I did." I frowned.

"No," he put his cup down to shake his hand. "No, no. It makes sense. It's just a lot of information at once."

I grinned.

"Umm, Namjoon sounds really smart." He said frowning a little.

"Yes. Very. He is with a friend. He should be here soon, but he does lose track of time regularly. You'll like him." He lost track of his line of thought as well. Hopefully, he had been careful while talking with Hoseok.

"I don't know about that." He sighed. "I don't like a lot of people."

"You like me. He is like me just maybe," I paused. "Less emotional."

He flinched at that. "I am sorry about that. I wasn't in the right mind. I just went off on you. And I know you have been working more than I give you credit for. I knew it then."

I looked the other way. I hadn't really talked to anyone about it. Joon knew something was up when I refused to go to work the next day. In all honesty, Joonie was more emotionally present than I would ever be.

"I had been really insensitive that day." Jungkook looked at me wondering if he should continue. He knew this wasn't really a topic I would like to discuss. "I know this bothers you more than you let it on."

I looked down at my hands holding the cup too tight. "I'm fine." It took all my energy to stabilize my voice.
