Moonbyul rushed into the room apologizing for breakfast being late.

"We already had the muffins you made yesterday, Byulie." Jungkook had been pretty hungry. " Just get something to eat for yourself. Joon probably had breakfast at the Jung's."

"Ah okay." She looked relieved at that as well as disappointed at not being able to serve some breakfast. She pulled a chair and sat on it. "Taehyung said he should be here at around midday."

"You lied to me," Jungkook pouted.

"Well, yeah," Moonbyul replied with a look that said that he should have expected it from her. "Thanks for helping out with carrying groceries around," she smiled.

"You helped her with groceries," I asked surprised.

"Well, I was following her around. Might as well."

"We had a lot more shopping than we usually do this week. It was a huge help." Moonbyul wasn't a huge supporter of having a vampire at our house. It unnerved her. She had been constantly complaining for the past few days that the Gray Manor had been built to ward off vampires, not house them.

We all heard sounds coming from the backdoor in the kitchen and reflexly turned our heads towards it. "Just Joon, I guess."

"Why would he use the back door?" Byul asked as we heard someone fumbling the door handle.

"I don't even know how you knew there was a door back here." Joon's voice came from the back of the kitchen, while Moonbyul went over to look.

"All these old buildings are the same. I know my way around them." Taehyung answered, both of them having entered the room now. Byul sat back down, and Joon took the seat next to me.

Taehyung looked surprised that Jungkook was here. "Why is he here?"

Jungkook looked offended by that. "You can trust him," I answered for him.

"I know. It's just. I have no problem with Moonbyul. Jimin probably doesn't mind his Kookie being here." Jimin didn't, but it was obvious that Taehyung definitely did. Jungkook wasn't pleased either at being called Kookie. "But who is he?" He said, tilting his head toward Namjoon.

"Kim Namjoon. My friend from university." I explained.

"But why is he here?"

"He works here. It's a big house. We need people."

"I thought we bonded just now, Tae." Joon added. "-hyung," he said hastily, seeing how displeased Taehyung was by the nickname.

"You can trust him," I tried.

"I don't even understand why I trust you," he spat. It was probably because you still remember a little bit of me.

"Come on, Taehyung. It's too late to back down." Jungkook said, looking up at Taehyung, who had been standing the whole time.

He sighed. "It's not just me. It's Jin."

Moonbyul, who had been quite the whole time, suddenly shifted her weight at that. "Who is this Jin?"

"I told you there will be two."

"And he is?"

"A vampire." Taehyung clarified.

"No," she protested firmly.

"Byulie," I tried calming her down. " I told you there would be two."

"You said one of them was a vampire."

"I didn't know at the time."

"The house is compromised if it's one or two, Moonbyul." Joon added calmly.

She looked at Tae. "You assured me the prince hadn't had any blood. How about Jin? How old is he?"

"Old."
