I couldn't sleep. I hadn't had a good sleep in the past couple of days. It wasn't that I was actively thinking through everything. My mind just didn't shut off. I don't even think I was forming thoughts. It was just full of stuff. A brain so full and so disconnected.

It was beginning to warm up. The cool wind of the night was slowly regressing. I got up to close the windows. I went down to the kitchen slowly making sure not to wake Joon up. We should get him a sofa down here. He didn't even bother to go to one of the staff bedrooms.

Moonbyul was already getting the tea ready. She was a bit startled when she noticed me while turning back from the stove.

"Someone's early."

"Couldn't sleep," I mumbled.

She frowned at that but went back to work. I just sat on the counter and watched her silently.

After tea was ready, she poured me a mug and gave it to me. She poured herself some as well, but didn't even drink from it. She immediately busied herself looking through the pantry and  preparing a list of stuff she had to get from the groceries.

"There are still a lot of questions surrounding those two." She said.

"Mmm" I mumbled, sipping on my tea. There were, but neither of them were particularly forthcoming. Even yesterday Jimin had cheerfully avoided any details, while Jin remained silent. They had been guarded the whole night.

"I don't trust them."

"Even the prince?" I asked.

"He is polite but that is just courtly training." He had been evading answers.

"Taehyung trusts him."

She looked at me as if she had been meaning to talk to me about this all along. "That kid worries me more than you do. He is around here too often. Don't you think you might trigger his memory of you?"

I sipped my tea. I wasn't really worried about that. Everything has worked fine with the memory charm, he had no recollection of me. "Not if I am careful."

"He knows too much. I was really worried when he came through the back door yesterday."

I hadn't really thought that through. Tae and I used the back door often when we were young. It was just easier going back and through the garden. Even at that age Moonbyul was motherly and would scold us for not using the front door.

Moonbyul stood up to get the tea set ready. "He remembers me, remembers the house." She continued. I frowned. I tried being careful but there were just too many variables when it came to Tae.

"Could you take this upstairs?" She asked, as she got the tea tray ready.

I nodded.
