Moonbyul left soon afterwards while I tried to be as quiet as possible moving through the basement. Joon was peacefully sleeping. I really didn't like going up the stairs with breakable glassware and a full teapot.

I heard doors being opened and closed whilst climbing the stairs. Probably one of the two who just got here yesterday, either lost or searching for something. When I finally managed to balance my way upstairs, Jin was looking through a room near the end of the hallway.

As soon as he saw me, he closed the door loudly and growled. "Where is he?"

He stalked towards me. Who? "Jimin?"

"Where did he go?" He demanded.

"I don't know!" I really didn't. I had heard all of them discussing rooms while I tried to sleep yesterday, but I wasn't paying attention.

"I know your family," he said moving threateningly forward. "You have never been kind to us." I backed up and suddenly hit the wall.

"I don't know, Jin! I don't know where he is!" I didn't know

He knocked the tray out of my hands and went straight for my neck, strangling me. The tray rang loudly as it hit the floor. Hot tea splashed over my feet as he dragged me up the wall.

Shit. I can feel myself losing control. I can' t. Crack.

"Jin go away," I begged. My eyes were turning. I didn't want Jin to see me, it would only make everything worse. I held his wrist with both my hands trying to pry it. "Go away."

I could feel Jin's anger. It was radiating through the air. "Not until you tell me."

"It's up here." Tae's voice came. " I heard the sounds from-"

"How do you even remember all these stairs?" Jimin's voice came quickly after.

As soon as he heard him, Jin relaxed his grip. I collapsed onto the floor. Calm down. Calm down. I breathed in heavily closing my eyes to focus on calming my breathing. Crack.

"What happened?" I could barely hear Jimin as blood rushed into my ears. "Where were you?" I squatted to get hold of myself.

"I was with Taehyung. Shit, Jin." His voice was getting calmer and closer.

He gently put his hand on my arm. "Are you alright?"

I looked up at him. He instantly jerked back. My eyes. I hurriedly stood up and pushed past all of them.

"Should I go with her?" Tae asked as soon as I passed him.

I could barely hear Jimin say "No!" as I ran to the basement.

As soon as I got there I closed the heavy doors which we almost always open. Namjoon woke up at the sound of the door scraping on the floor. Breathe. I leaned on the door with my head on the cold metal lock. It was really loud upstairs. Voices arguing. Then I slowly let it go. The heat burning through my back as my wings slowly took form.

"Gray," Joon said kindly as he inched towards me.

I untied my robe to give enough space for the wings to grow. It didn't hurt anymore. At least not as much.

Joon sat next to me back leaning on the door. I pulled my knees to my chest and looked at him. He was worried.

"It doesn't hurt as much, Joon." I assured him.

"Hmm" he hummed calmly, pulling me into a hug.
