Mother's Day Special 💐🌹
Minutes had passed before my confused mom entered our house. The balloon that had been bursting with color, exploded firework style as if it had settled upon a fine point. I think, mom, had stepped the balloons Kuya Dave made.
The balloon burst, stumbling every conversation and thought, that loud bang was a sort of sudden flushing of ideas, a reset button, and everyone was together in a moment for the first time that night - all laughing about the same thing.
Party has started, pizza boxes stacked on a counter, the two couples standing close together dancing wildly, burst balloons are all over the carpet, and an aroma of a splash of beer spilling down the front of their shirts.
I'm very overwhelmed that they enjoy our presents. As a queue and twist, pinaghiwalay nila sa dalawang grupo ang inuman. Plain drink for the ladies and Hard liquor such as Vodka, Rum, and Whisky for men.
The path where I stepped on felt an invitation to my soles, that it wanted me to seek and find out what lay upon it. This path is lengthy circuitous that is somehow familiar to me.
Weird . . .
As I walked by flowers that grow where I dwell, these tenacious blossoms of the city streets, born to take whatever comes their way and make the beauty of it, I admire them. It is as if they call for some trees to accompany them, to make the city streets brighter, to refresh the air that we breathe.
Wind waves passed, the tree branches as if in a raucous ballgame celebration appeared, those beautiful dandelion flies and those leaves and flowers are dancing with the wind.
I continue to walk, then stop since I already saw my safe place, the swing.
The white chocolate elegant swing, singing with the birdsong in chorus and spring blossoms, was a picture-perfect part of the scenery.
Minutes had passed, I heard a squeak from a familiar shoe. He walks amble, letting his feet decide where to go.
