Chapter eight

We are home and currently in my room "Kat I fucked up" I say I lean back into the couch "with Colby" Devyn says she's also in there I don't look at them and bite my lip "tell us what happened" Kat says I look at them "I told him about me and we had a moment and we kissed but I pulled away" I say and look away "like always I let my life get the best of me I told him I couldn't because of everything I'm scared I might drag him down with me when ever someone gets close to me they get killed and I can't loose him" I say I wipe away a tear that fell down I feel a hand on my leg "hey you won't loose him you won't loose any of us how do you feel when your around him" Kat says I am quiet "I feel safe I feel whole I feel happy and  I feel like when we are together the whole world just slows down and it's just me and him" I say I put a hand up to my mouth leaning my elbow on the couch I close my eyes and take a deep breathe to stop me from crying "Tess you want to be with him we can tell and he wants to be with you" Devyn says "he kinda admitted it" I say and look at them "but I told him to meet me at the Hollywood sign and then he just walked off" I say "then you should go tell him how you feel" Kat says "this is the most happiest I've seen you since you've been doing secretive stuff with him" Devyn says I laugh a little "what if he doesn't show" I say "he will now we will cover you here now go and get your man" Kat says I chuckle "ok" I say I get up slip back on my shoes grab my phone and keys "thank you" I say "that's what best friends are for" Devyn says they blow me I kiss I return that gesture I run downstairs and leave quietly I get in my car start it and pull out and head to the Hollywood sign am I really about to do this ya I am it's true about what I said I can't loose him he means to much to me.

I park and don't see his car great I get out and go lean in front of my car I get my phone and go to my contacts should I call him I think to myself I look down to see my finger hovering over his name I shake my head and put my phone in my back pocket I look out at the view I never get over this about a couple minutes later I hear a car pull up I don't look at the car I keep my gaze at the view I feel a presence come beside me it's silent for awhile "If your going to reject me you kinda did it earlier" Colby says I roll my eyes "This is where I come up to think or to just get away from life but now I don't anymore because I found someone that makes me feel whole that makes me feel happy and that when I'm around him I don't think about everything that's going on I'm a mess ya but he broke through a wall I had held up" I say and look at him he doesn't say anything "he also made a promise that when I start to go down this dark path he would be the one to pull me out" I say he looks at me "I let everything get in the way I was scared because I didn't want to drag you down with me or risk you dying because of me I can't loose you Colby your to important to me" I say and look away "are you done" he says I look at him "ya" I say and look away again he does too "I made a promise to someone that I would never be afraid and that I wouldn't hold back on anything but Tessa ever since I met you after the first day in the hall I knew something was there I just didn't know what but now I know I'm afraid for the first time in my life I'm afraid" he says I look at him "I'm afraid to loose you I feel like I've known you my whole life" he says and looks at me "I want you Tessa I want to be with you and only you I want to call you mine" he says I go closer "then do it" I say he looks down at me I look up at him "you sure" he says I kiss him he kisses back "Is that an answer" I say pulling away "Tessa Stuart will you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend" he says I smile "of course" I say he kisses me I kiss back wrapping my arms around his neck we pull away and we look back out to the view he wraps an arm around my shoulders I lay my head on his shoulder and wrap my arms around his stomach "we are going to half to keep this a secret" he says I nod "I know we can't risk blowing your cover" I say he laughs a little "I hate saying this but we are going
to act like we still hate each other" he says I look up at him "ok that shouldn't be a problem" I say he gives me this look "kidding" I say and look out in the distance we stay there a little while longer "I'm about to ruin this" I say "noooo" he says and brings me closer "I half to go" I say he groans "why did you half to say that" he says I look up at him "because I really do Kat and Devyn can't cover for me all night" I say he looks at me "I guess your right" he says he lets me go I go and start to get in my car "your missing something" he says I turn around to look at him but he's already in front of me "what is that exactly" I say and wrap my arms around his stomach "this" he says and kisses me I kiss back "now I really need to go" I say he lets me go I open the door "oh I think you should know but Ryder is my uncle" I say he looks at me shocked "wait what" he says I shrug my shoulders and close the door "I will call you" I say as I roll down my window "you better we aren't done talking about it" he says "alright whatever" I say and start to drive away I roll my window up.

Ok so that was some what easy wait I have a boyfriend I don't want to fuck this up I really hope I don't I can't risk loosing him.
