Chapter ten

It has been a week since my father left and he has called us twenty four seven checking in I think right now they are in Hawaii from what he said but at least he's safe but I can't help think Ryder could find him and just kill him but I don't want to think about that (sorry this is going so weirdly) right now we are focused on killing Ryder that our main priority but I haven't told them about him wanting to kill me.

"So if we can figure out where they are located then maybe we can go from there" Carson says I nod "before he gets to her he won't be getting her" Brennen says I look at them "there's something your not telling us you've been quiet" Devyn says I look at her "Ryder wants to kill me he doesn't want me alive he wants me dead" I say "and when did you bother to tell us this" Brennen says I shrug my shoulders "never but they know" I say pointing to Kat and Devyn "ya it's true" they say "wait so Ryder wants you dead so how did you hear this" Noah says I look at him then at the girls they give me this look I sigh "I have someone on the inside and that's how I'm getting information" I say "do we know this person" Carson says I shake my head "nope" I say not making eye contact before anyone can say anything my phone rings I answer it "hey dad" I say as I walk out "hello Tessa" Ryder says "where is my father" I say "he's here he's just sleeping" he says no this can't be happening "Ryder I swear if you touched a hair on him" I say "oh Tessa you really thought you could protect him but you didn't he's dead" Ryder says I remove my phone "this isn't happening" I whisper I take a deep breathe but it doesn't work "damn it" I say and punch the wall l fix my hair and go and grab my keys and I head to school "where are you going" Devyn says I look at her "I half to do something" I say I leave slamming the door I get in my car and drive to school.

I park go in "You are so dead" I say as I go and pin Colby to the wall "Tessa" he says I glare at him "this isn't you" he says I don't listen "you don't want to do this" he says as I hold my pocket knife to his throat "trust me when I say this I want blood he wants blood so I will give it to him by killing you" I say he shakes his head "no you don't want to do this don't go down that path" he says I roll my eyes "You do this then you will loose me and your afraid of that but once we come to your senses you will break" he says as he now has me pinned to the wall he kicks the knife away "come back to me" he says I glare at him "damn it Tess I love you" he says "I love you Tess you are my rock my everything please come back to me" he says I close my eyes and open them back up "what happened" I say he lets me go I look at him "no please tell me I didn't almost kill you" I say he doesn't say anything "It wasn't you" he says I shake my head I just walk out I get in my car and close the door I pull out and decide to go down some old back roads I used to speed and drift on I need to burn off some steam.

I almost killed him this is exactly what I was afraid of my dad just died I let my anger come over me and that darker of me came out but I don't remember it that's the thing god what is happening to me.

I stop and park by the lake I use to go too with my mom I get out lock it and go at the end of the dock and sit down I bring my knees to my chest and look out in the distance my phone won't stop buzzing so I turn it off and just sit in silence.

Colby's POV
After Tessa left and after our incident I haven't been able to find her she's not answering her phone "damn it" I say and run a hand through my hair "dude calm down" Jake says I look at him "how can I when she won't answer her phone and I don't know where she is" I say "he's got a point his girl is basically missing after she almost killed him" Tara says I glare at her "that wasn't her" I say "ok sorry I brought it up" Tara says "Maybe Kat knows where she would be" Sam says I look at him "Call her" Sam says I forgot I have her number too that's how I got Tessa's number I call her it takes awhile "hey Colby is Tessa with you" she says I look at them "what no I figured she would of come to you" I say "no what happened anyway" she says "she almost killed me then once she was back in her right mind she ran off" I say she's quiet for a sec "I might know where she is her and mom used to go to this lake try there" she says I nod "ya ok I will I will let you know if I find her" I say "ok thank you" she says I hang up "I will be back cover for me" I say "alright we will be here" Corey says I grab my keys and leave I get in my car and go to where Kat told me to go god I really hope she's there she wasn't her self earlier I almost lost her so I did something I've been wanting to do for awhile I told her I loved her which I really do I love her she's my rock my everything my world I couldn't live without her.

I see her car in this parking lot I park next to it and get out I go and there she is at the end of the dock with her feet dangling off the dock I walk over and sit next to her.
