Chapter fourteen

Colby's POV
After I left Tessa's I came back to the house to change I hear a knock on my door "your back where you've been" Tyler says I look at him "out now get out" I say he raises an eyebrow "ya well Ryder wants to see you" he says and closes my door and leaves I finish getting ready and I go down to his office I go in "wanted to see me" I say Ryder looks at me "close the door" he says I close it "now I've heard rumors where there's a mole roaming around" he says I cross my arms "ok and" I say "I've also heard it could be you and your group of friends" he says I laugh a little "you really think I'm the mole your delusional" I say he gives me this look "Well are you" he says I scoff "no I'm not" I say he gets up and comes over "see Colby I know when someone's lying and right now I think you're lying" he says and leans against his desk I laugh a little "you really are delusional I'm your best fighter shooter why would I betray you" I say he nods a little two people come in and grab me "I know you are but I also know your capable of betraying people" he says and punches me and everything goes black.

I wake back up in a dark room I look around and I'm tied to a chair I try to break loose but doesn't work "your up finally now we can have a chit chat" Ryder says as he comes into the light I glare at him "your going to tell me everything why did you betray me" he says I look at him "I'm not saying anything" I say he chuckles "if you aren't saying anything then I'll make you" he says he punches me again I spit out blood "that all you got" I say he smirks "not even close" he says and I feel something sharp go in my leg I clench my fist "now you going to talk" he says and twist it I groan he twist it again "fine I'll talk" I say he pulls it out I wince "I'm waiting" he says I look at him "I met your niece" I say he looks at me "who Tessa wha—" he says but smirks "you two are together aren't you" he says I don't say anything "wow I never knew and I think your in love with her" he says I look away "I think I might know how lure her in" he says I struggle to move "don't touch her" I say he looks at me "I don't want her I could careless on what happens to her but just know she has the same darkness as me Tessa is strong she's a fighter but when she finally gives into the darkness there's no going back" he says I look at him "who wants her then" I say he comes over to me "you know them" he says I look at him confused "I'll leave you now but first" he says and punches me again making everything go black.

Tessa's POV
"We need to go forward with the plan like now" I say they look at me "to get Colby back or when we get him back we can kill Ryder then and there" I say "we could or we could figure out if Ryder is actually working for a mafia leader that wants your boyfriend and his best friend dead" Jake says we look at him "what I'm just saying" he says I zone out I really hope he's alive but I'm going to think positive he's alive he's strong he will find a way out and come back to us come back to me but Ryder knowing my uncle he will kill him but first he would torture him "or he's already dead" Tara says I shake my head and leave everyone looks at her "I made a dick move" Tara says Kat nods "I'll go talk to her" Brennen says I go in the studio and close the door and sit in dads chair I smile a little remembering when I was a kid I would always come in here with mom and dad just to hear mom sing I start to play one of her tracks I smile "you know your mom was really good" Brennen says as he sits in the other chair "ya she was" I say we are silent for awhile "remember when we would come in here for fun just to mess around and dad would get so mad he would literally lock the door" I say he chuckles "ya I do it was good times" he says I look at him "ya when things were simpler and my parents aren't dead" I say he looks at me "and when we didn't fall in love with my old best friend aka was in the rival gang and son of mafia leaders" he says I roll my eyes "ya I get it" I say and look away "I'm sorry it's just your hurting and your trying to push people away" he says I don't look at him I shake my head "I'm falling apart I can't help but think that this is my fault if he would of never agreed to spy for me then we wouldn't be in this mess" I say I close my eyes and bite my lip to help me from crying "but would you of found the love of your life if he didn't" he says I wipe under my eyes "no" I say still not looking at him I start to play with something that's on the sound system "he told me he loved me and I didn't say it back I wanted to but didn't and now I don't think I will ever be able too" I say and look at him he brings a hand up and rubs his thumb under my eyes wiping my tears "you will we will get him back he will come home" he says I don't say anything he looks at what I'm playing with "what's that" he says I look at it "I don't know" I say I lift it up looking at it "it looks like a flash drive" he says I nod I put it in the usb plug and press play "hey girls" my dads voice says I pause it I close my eyes and let my tears flow Brennen brings me in "do you want Kat in here too" he says I nod "I heard you want me" Kat says as she comes in "you might want to sit down  for this" Brennen says she sits down Sam next to her Brennen presses play "hey girl's" dad says Kat covers her mouth as she starts to tear her up Sam brings her in "once you find this I will probably be gone or dead but I will always always be here even if you can't see me or hear me I will always be there I will be watching you girls grow into beautiful strong women you already are you will always be my little girls now I have messages for both of you Kat my stubborn beautiful girl" he says I pull away and look at her I she comes and lays her head on my shoulder "you were always my strong one you would always but others first just like your sister don't mourn my death move on marry have kids live your dream don't be afraid to move on because it's ok too I will always be here for you I love you Kat" he says "I love you too" she whispers I lay my head on top of her she pulls away and goes to Sam "Tessa my strong beautiful and independent girl you were the most stubborn you got that from your mother" he says I laugh a little "but don't be afraid to let people in find someone that you love and they love you just as much as I did I want you to be happy both of you girls and don't run you don't need to run anymore live your life just like your mother did even though we aren't there we are always there with you I want you Tessa to move on because I know you won't rest until Ryder is dead but don't let it beat you up ok find someone that will be your rock your world I love you Tessa I love both of you girls so much just remember that ok I'm never really gone just like your mother I think it's time for me to go goodbye girls I love you always" he says and it stops I close my eyes "I love you too dad" I say my voice cracking Brennen brings me in "We will leave you guys alone" Sam says and leaves with Kat I shake my head "I will move on after Ryder's dead" I whisper he starts to rub my back "I know which is why we are going to end this" he says I pull away and look at him "I know" I say he looks at me "but right now let's rest" he says I lay back down on his chest he wraps his arms around me I don't have words he must of made that the day before he left and not knowing if he was going to come back and he won't because he's dead Ryder killed him he's gone just like that.
