I woke up in the crook of Dion's neck and smiled. The pain had gone away in the middle of the night and I felt fresh and new. This probably meant the positions had changed and now I was considered Delta.

Delta and Moon Goddess. Both a low tier and an extremely royal tier as well. It was nice to be both. Maybe it would help some of the wolves know that you can be anything. Then again, being it just by birth didn't exactly help.

The door opened with the Alphas carrying in a soup bowl and two drinks. I smiled and slowly got up, still a bit sore from the position-changing process. Isla pulled me to the edge whilst trying to be quiet because of the out cold Dion.

"How are you feeling?" She whispered, taking a glass from West and handing it to me.

"I'm good. I feel way better now. How's Jennalyn?" I took a sip from it.

"I visited her a bit before I came to you. She said she's gonna come see you later. Daniel's too busy pampering her. I ran out quickly before anything else happened." Isla giggled, putting the extra drink on the little table and I chuckled. Jen's mate was the sweetest whenever it came to her.

Tying my hair into a braid, I got up. "I'm going to go search through the library again. Tell him where I am if he asks." I said, nodding to my head towards Dion.

West raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you want to do that? Your body just went through severe changes. It was harder since you were an important Goddess."

Scoffing, I put my shoes on. "I'm just sitting and reading. The only thing that I'll be exercising is my brain."

He glanced at Isla and she shrugged. I smirked. They knew I wouldn't let it down. Finding another option to get my father out of jail was my key priority. Obviously my Uncle Zeus would not go for the reason, 'They were in love!' scenario. I could be incarcerated myself. I just became a goddess, he could easily take that away and make any of my cousins one.

"Thanks!" I grabbed Isla's library keys from her hook in her room and skipped out. My hands rummaged through the aisle I had stopped at. "No, no no, these books suck! Really, labeling a book 'All Vampires Are Evil?'¨ Welcome to the 21st century, lady. The author never met Ariella, the really nice vampire that helped me find my Mother. Right now she was outside of the valley on some business. ¨'Unbreakable Diamond,' 'His Miss Alpha.' Okay, these sound great, but still." Huffing out a breath, I crossed my arms.

'Only a god or goddess would know what they were talking about if the piece holds true information. They would have to touch the book to know.' Clove's voice whispered.

That's right. It's just as if the person were using dark magic. They would find a spell to find the magic itself. Rubbing my hands together, I closed my eyes. The question is, how would I go about this? A finger tapped my shoulder making me shriek. Putting a hand over my beating heart, I sighed. It was only my mate.

"I thought you were going to wake me up when you go." He said, sadly. He was really cute when his blue eyes turned puppy-eyed.

I smiled and hugged him. "Sorry." Then an idea flashed in my mind. "You knew about the prophecy...but how did you know it was me exactly? How did you know I was a goddess?"

He put a hand to his chin, contemplating back to the time he was spying on me. Right, I was naked at the time during the combining ceremony. Who knew how long he was watching me. "When it comes to us, there's always this aura around the person."

"Alright, then what about how we know they were there before?"

Dion shrugged. "Maybe they would leave a trace. Dark magic wouldn't be able to find it. Queens and Kings don't come in contact with it and visa-versa. You would have to find the trace, yourself."

A trace of them. It was as if you were using those weird goggles or glasses and you would see where someone left footsteps or heat vision. Snapping my fingers together, I knew which person I could go to that would know how to conjure something up like that.

"No way." Daniel said, adjusting his square glasses and typing something on the computer, his brown eyes expertly grasping all the code on the screen. I sighed, stubbornly, refusing to give up. Daniel was Jennalyn's mate and the engineer and brains for Isla when she needed new technology.

"Daniel, come on. I know it's hard to think of stuff like this but really, I have the information, I just need you to figure out the logistics and make it into something physical for me!"

He rolled his eyes and turned to look at me. "Mallory, listen to yourself. I am not a god, I'm a werewolf. I'm not a magician that can conjure things for you once you tell me what you want."

Crossing my arms, I huffed. "You made that amazing gun for when we took out West and Ryan."

"That's because I know the body structure of an Alpha and a Delta. I know how long they can last when it comes to silver and just enough to knock them out. Besides, that was in the past. Now, we just use spears for defense."

Jenna came in with drinks. She raised her eyebrows when she saw my unhappy state. "Dan, what did you say?"

"I'm just telling the Delta that what she wants can't be done. She wants me to make glasses for her that can find traces of when a goddess or god last touched an object." He explained, running a hand through his dark brown hair.

She chuckled. "Isn't that easy? Take blood from her and identify its chemical state. Sure, you have to separate it from the werewolf side of her but you already have a tool for that. Then just use how people identify heat traces and substitute it for god traces. I'm sure that even with ancient times, some of it will still be there and Mallory can find it because how much do they come into our library?"

I blinked, still not understanding what the Beta had just blabbered out. Daniel however, seemed to be absorbing it in, completely taking knowledge of what his mate had just advised him out. He put his fingers on his temple then nodded slightly. "Fine. You'll have the mask within forty-eight hours. Now let me work, ladies!" He said, ushering me out of his office.
