Chapter 10

I was walking at the hallway. I was on my way home and I feel better after talking to panot. I thank him for saying those things to me. It really help a lot. I couldn't imagine panot to be like that. I never thought that side of him because I thought he only know how to pissed me off.

My mood was ruin when I saw Jace walking towards me. He look pissed or something but I don't care.

I walk as fast as I could. I turn my back and saw him coming near me. I stop walking and started running but before I could run; he caught me.

"Why are you ignoring me?" He glared at me.

Hindi ako makapaniwalang tumingin sa kanya,"Are you seriously asking me that?."

"'Yung sinabi ko kanina--" I cut him off.

"Don't bother." I look at him,"I'm not interested."

"No, Nix listen to me." He grab my hand but I pull it back.

"I don't want to listen to you. I'm done with your games Jace. I'M DONE WITH YOUR BULLSH*T." I can't control my emotions anymore. I need to confront him NOW.

"This i s not a 'bullshit thing' Nix. I'm serious about what I said earlier." He plead.

"Stop it Jace. You can't hurt me twice." Nag-umpisa ng mangilid ang mga luha ko.

"Nix, please hear me out first please." Tears started pooling on his eyes.

"Don't make me a fool Jace." I also feel tears pooling from my eyes, "You know what, when you gave up on us two years ago; I realized something."

I stared at him full of hatred," You're a coward Jace. A selfish coward." With that, I left.

I heard shout when I turn my back at him.

"I won't stop Nix. I will make you MINE again. Mark my words."

You won't Jace. I swear.

Late na akong nagising because I'm bothered about what Jace said yesterday. Nababahala ako. Sigurado akong hindi ako titigilan ni Jace. Kung gusto nya, makukuha nya. But not me, once is enough.

Papunta na akong sa room nang may nahagip ang mga mata ko.

Wait! Is that Aya? It's been a long time since I saw her.

She's my bestfriend aside from Ellaise. Nagbakasyon kasi ito kasama ang kanyang pamilya. Yes, vacation after first day of class. I don't know why because their family is full of secrets. Aya can't tell us because her family won't let her. She already explained it to us and we understand her. But we know all things about her not included her family.

Hindi pa ako nito nakikita kaya I took the oppurtunity to startled her.

"Welcome back bes," I hug her from behind and grab her hair, "Alam mo nakakatampo ka," I pouted. Yuuck! Di bagay sakin.

"Beees!!!! I misss you," she turned around and hug me too.

"I miss you too. I have so much to tell you." I need to tell her about Jace. That's what we are. We don't keep secret to each other.

"Really?! Care to tell me now? I'm excited!," she giggled.

"Now na? Pero late na tayo," Yeah and were 35 minutes late.

"Yes now na hindi na naman tayo papasukin sa history class natin. Baka ipadetention pa tayo ni maam for being late," oo nga pala. Maam Dez is very strict especially for late comers and we are so late. We'd better not to go in.

"So, we're going to ditch Maam Dez class?," It's first time for us to ditch in class.

"We're not totally ditching you know." she laughed,"Late na rin naman tayo kaya sulitin na natin," nagpacute pa talaga.

"My God bes, you and your logic." I laughed at her.

"Halika na nga. You have a lot of stories to tell." She grab my hand and we found ourselves at the cafeteria.

"So what's the latest news?," she immediatley asked when we sat down.

I told her everything including Jace 'come back' at the welcome party and about what Jace told me yesterday. I also told her about Vlad and his advice.

"What?! Jace is back?." Nanlalaki pa ang mga mata nito, "And he wants you back?." I nod at her.

"Wait! This is so shocking!," umakto pa ito na parang mamatay. Muntanga lang. Pinapaypay nito ang dalawang kamay na para bang hindi ito makahinga.

"Ang kapal din naman ng apogs ng lalaking 'yon. After what he did?."

"Uh-huh."

"Pero infairness huh. May kaunting bait din pala 'yang si Vlad. Marunong naman pala 'yung magseryoso eh. I thought he only knows how to piss you off."

"That's what I'm thinking but thanks to him I felk better after hearing his advice." I smiled, remembering our talk yesterday.

"Someone's happy." Aya giggled.

I look at her in disbelief.

"Who's happy?." I asked her still smiling.

She suddenly take her bag and get something.

I eyed her curiously when she handed me her mirror.

"What am I gonna do with this?." Why the heck did she gave me her mirror.

Itinaas nya ang salamin while I'm still holding on it, "Take a look."

I look in the mirror and saw myself smiling.

"When we are talking about Vlad. You're smiling like that."

"What?, no I'm not!" I shouted. Geez! I look guilty.

"Uh-huh. Keep denying it bes." Nanunudyo pa itong tumingin.

"Ambot nimo bes." I talk to her in Visayan. Natawa ako sa mukha nito. 'Di kasi nito naintindihan an sinabi ko. Her face was epic.

"The heck?!" I laughed.

I'm just trying to divert the topic though. I know she won't stop teasing me about it.

I'm just smiling because---because--. Ugh. Whatever.
