"Hey, sorry talaga sa abala."
I took off Miko's coat at iniabot iyon sa kaniya. Nandito na kami sa tapat ng condo ko. I was already sober dahil pinainom niya ako ng dalawang bote ng tubig dahil daw sobrang daldal ko.
"Kahiya naman," I said but he only raised a brow at me.
"Why is that?"
"Wala akong graduation gift sayo, bro." I chuckled. "Tapos ginawa pa kitang driver." I gave a small smile.
"I don't need a gift," he looked and sounded serious.
"Ganito na lang," I reached for my phone. "Give me your phone–"
Agad niyang kinuha yung phone ko kahit hindi pa ako natatapos sa pagsasalita. Nagpindot pindo na siya roon at bigla na lang tumunog yung cellphone niya bago ibinalik sa akin ang phone ko.
"I'll treat you," I winked at him before getting off the car. "I'll call you!"
I waved before going inside the condo. I took a short shower once I got into my unit. Parang ngayon lang ako nagutom kaya nagluto ako ng chicken noodle soup para sa midnight snack ko. I almost jumped on the seat nang biglang tumunog yung phone ko. Napahawak pa ako sa dibdib ko dahil sa gulat.
"Hello–"
"Hoy! I'm sorry hindi na kita naihatid!" It was Kai. "Hinatid ka na raw ni Miko?"
"Oo, bwisit ka! Nasaan ka ba, ha?! Bakit bigla bigla ka na lang nawawala? Walang pa warning pa!"
Muntik pa tuloy akong mapaso dahil bigla akong humigop sa sabaw ng noodles ko. Ang init niya!
"Family matter lang! Nakauwi ka naman na, 'di ba?" She sounded corncerned.
"Oo, hindi naman manyak pinsan mo." I laughed nang maalala kung gaano ka-gentleman iyon.
"Okay! See you sa pasukan na. Love you!"
Pinatay na agad ng kaibigan ko ang tawag matapos sabihin iyon. We only have a few more weeks before the start of 4th year college.
Inubos ko na yung pagkain ko at nagpunta na sa kwarto ko. I was just browsing through our portal dahil may nakasend doon na advanced lessons for next year. I spent the night reading through them until I got bored. Saglit lang akong naghilamos at nagpalit ng night dress, pagkatapos ay natulog na.
I woke up nang matamaan ng araw ang mukha ko. I slowly got off the bed at nag hilamos na. I checked the time on my wall clock and grabbed my phone as I walked to the kitchen.
"Should I text him?" I asked myself habang nagtitimpla ng kape. "Or should I call him instead?"
While I was toasting some bread I decided to text Miko. I laughed when I saw the name of the contact, he was the one who put it.

Do you know MOA?
Not a minute passed at sumagot na agad ito. Kinuha ko muna yung mga tinapay na tumalon mula sa toaster at nilagay iyon sa pinggan ko.

Duh, what time?
"Wow, ah! Nagtanong agad ng oras eh wala pa nga akong sinasabi." Assumero talaga!
