"Masakit 'yon!"
He just laughed and took a bite of the donut he was holding.
"How about you, how are your parents like?"
Napaisip naman ako. They are not strict but not that careless.
"I guess they are freeing," I shrugged my shoulders.
I wouldn't say that I'm being spoiled because I'm not. They just give what I need and I don't take excessive stuff from them.
"Really? That's why you look spoiled–"
"Hoy! Insulto ha!" Dinuro ko siya ng daliri ko. "Hindi ako spoiled." Depensa ko sa sarili ko.
"Spoiled sa pagmamahal, hindi sa gamit." Pagbawi niya. "Let me finish first kasi." He chuckled.
"Nyenyenye," I rolled my eyes. "Oh, lalabas ka baby?" I looked at my dog nang dilaan nito ang binti ko.
"Sana all baby." He pointed at my uniform.
She will probably potty outside.
I went to my room and took a short shower at nagbihis ako ng simpleng white shirt at maong shorts.
"There's your Mommy na, oh."
Miko pointed at my direction. Papasok pa lang sila galing sa backyard. He was asking my dog something at marahan niya iyon kinarga papunta doon sa stroller.
"Akyat na raw si baby," ani Miko at dala dala na niya yung stroller.
"Feel na feel mo naman," I glared at my dog. "Malandi ka talaga!"
Tumawa lang si Miko at umakyat na kami sa kwarto. Binaba niya sa stroller yung aso at kusa na iyon naglakad sa higaan niya. She barked at me kaya kinuha ko ulit yung ipad at nanood ulit siya.
"What a smart dog," namamanghang saad ni Miko.
"Mana lang sa nanay," I stood proud in front of him.
"Halata nga," he looked amazed pero wala sa akin ang tingin.
He was looking at my wall of fame. Char. He was looking at my trophies and medals on my glass cabinet beside the door of my room.
"You played volleyball?" He asked and pointed at the trophy.
"Back in high school,"
I glanced at it. It was a championship trophy with four gold medals on it.
"Champion, MVP, Mythical Six and best open spiker." He read the award on the medals. "Ang yabang." He chuckled.
"May sinabi ako?!" I glared at him.
"Bakit hindi mo tinuloy ngayong college?" He asked. Still looking at my achievements cabinet.
"Focused on studying," I shrugged my shoulders.
I got injured on my last game back in high school. Natatakot akong maglaro thinking that I will have to go to surgery again if ever na ma-injure ulit. Trauma? Maybe.
He was busy looking at the cabinet like a proud Dad. I smiled when he smiled while looking at my high school diploma. There was picture there of a nene me.
"Wow," he glanced at the picture and at me. "Walang pinagbago."
Hinampas ko siya nang mang asar siya. Napatingin tuloy ako sa picture na 'yon. Ang dami kaya pinagbago!
