"You look happy,"

Napatingin ako kay Miko nang magsalita ito. We are going to eat out for dinner today. He just got off from his shift in the hospital at ako naman ay kakatapos lang ng work hours sa site.

"Hindi mo pa ba nababalitaan? About Kai?"

"What about her?" He asked as he started to turn the steering wheel.

"She's getting promoted!" Excited kong tugon. "She's finally getting the position she deserves." Dagdag ko pa.

"That's good," tumango si Miko habang tutok ang paningin sa kalsada. "That also means more rest for your Dad, right?" He looked at me pero agad din binalik sa daan ang tingin.

"Well, yeah.

"Can I connect?" I asked him while pointing at his bluetooth device.

"S-Sure," he looked surprised that I asked that.

The device was asking for a password. I was about to ask Miko but something came to my mind. I typed the password of his old bluetooth device from his past car. I almost squealed when it was the same password.

"You still use the same password?" Nakangising tanong ko.

"It's still my favorite song," he faked a cough.

"I'll play music na, ah?" I said then I played my playlist in spotify.

"Saan pala tayo kakain?" "I'm on a diet baka hindi ako masyadong kumain, but it still depends if the food is good, you know?" I chuckled.

He stared at me for a few seconds before his lips formed into an amused smile. When the stoplight turned green ay muli na siyang tumingin sa daan.

"You said you don't want fancy restaurants," aniya.

We have a rule that we should not go to any fancy restaurants during weekdays because there's not much time to prepare lalo na at galing kami pareho ng trabaho.

"So saan nga tayo kakain?" I asked again. "Parang gusto ko ng pizza, are we going to a pizza house?" I asked habang nakaharap sa kanya.

"Shakey's," he looked at me and then winked.

"Yaaaay!" I didn't know what's with me but I'm just craving for pizza even though I'm on a diet.

He turned the car once more and it revealed the Shakey's restaurant. It was not in a mall. It was just a branch, luckily there were still some parking spaces.

"I don't have an umbrella," ani Miko na mukhang problemado kung paano bababa.

He was about to complain to me pero nakababa na ako ng sasakyan at pinayungan ko ang sarili.

"Gentlewoman," he chuckled. "Let me hold it." He grabbed the umbrella from me.

He made sure that the car was locked before we walked towards the restaurant. He even shouldered his left arm on me.
