CHAPTER 4: Another Bargain

I quickly dodged the zombie crew when he tried to stab me with his dagger then I kicked him into his groin that made him crouched from pain..

I can't believe this zombie crews can still feel pain, guess they were just cursed then...

I ran into the higher part of the ship where I encountered another two zombies..

This is irritating....

At that moment, I remembered that I am an enchanter so I recalled an enchantment spell to end the enemies quickly but before I can cast the enchantment spell, I heard someone shout..

"Ha!!!...found it"said the man just 2 meters away from my back...

By this, everyone stopped fighting and looked at the man who has a compass in his right hand..

I instantly recognized him.....

"This fight is over gentlemen...I already found the compass" he continued

Compass???

So we are fighting for that compass???

"We won Fabian...now we can go to wherever we want"the man shouted while looking at Fabian..

I looked at Fabian and his expression is unreadable...

After about three seconds, he finally talked

"Really, do you think you got the most important thing on this ship?" Fabian countered

So, there is more important thing in this ship than that compass??

What could it be?

Captain Arvar looked at Fabian curiously...

"Huh?..don't make me laugh Fabian, this is the most important item in your ship..nothing else" Arvar spat

Arvar quickly approached Fabian and they are now standing face to face

They are looking at each other pointedly and if just looking can kill someone, then both of them are now 6 feet under...

Fabian is the first to talk...

"I have here in my ship the person who can help you..us to escape from this curse" Fabian said softly

He has in this ship the one who can free them???

The look that Arvar gave to Fabian is priceless...his eyes are wide open but furrowed quickly...

"He is one of the 12 enchanters of the kingdom of Verar" Fabian continued

By that, everyone gasped including me...

He is trying to bargain me???

Fabian quickly looked at my direction that lead to everyone to also look at me...

My eyes are wide open now because of shock

"If you return the compass to me I promise you, the enchanter will be yours but if you choose to keep the compass....then I'm going to kill the enchanter" Fabian said like we never had an agreement

I shouldn't have let myself trust this bastard...now he is trying to bargain me in exchange for his precious compass....

Now I can finally say that pirates are really filthy...

"Haha...you can't kill him, he is the key to our freedom" Arvar replied to Fabian

At that Fabian approached me with determined eyes and when he reached me, he quickly brought out his sword and placed the blade of it into my neck..
