CHAPTER 13: Kingdom of Alfas

The picture above is a map I drawn. It is exactly how I see the map of the world I created looks like. Aside from the major lands, there are also places I included which are to be introduced in the succeeding chapters.

Back to the story..

Prim's POV:

We are yet again back into the middle of the ocean, sailing, right after Fabian and I got the second necklace from the sea dragon, or should I say, Arkanas.

I sighed because of the memory of what the demi god and I discussed in his abode.

I am still in complete disbelief that a high creature, a Demi God to be exact, also feels human emotions. It didn't really crossed my mind that something like him who is majestic and the 'should be' epitome of kindness and generosity can change to someone so vengeful because of hate and anger. Though, now at least, the demi god finally realized that what he did was out of anger, not from his will. I just really hope and pray that someday, he will find in the bottom of his heart the will to finally free himself from the past, forgive the ones who caused him pain, and move on...

...And return to the kind and generous Demi God that he is.

I was cut off from my thoughts when I felt the presence of Fabian beside me. "So, where is our next-" he started saying but I cut him off.

"Why didn't you tell me that you and Arkanas have known each other?" I said, my voice complaining but NOT in a childish way.

He sighed and looked at the vast ocean before us.

"It's a long story. I'll tell you when I am ready.." He replied and looked at me with honesty in his eyes.

I examined him for a moment but nodded nonetheless, not really trying to push the question any further. It's not like it's his responsibility to tell me everything he knows. I was just curious how the two of them got to know each other.

"So, as I was saying before you cut me off, where is our next destination?" He said, his voice teasing.

I narrowed my eyes on him for a second and rolled it when my irritation for him multiplied because of his 'oh so' irritating smirk. Seriously, if we are to be betrothed, I bet you, we will be bickering and teasing and irritating each other all the time.

W-wait. What?!

Sigh.

I quickly brought out the map and focused my attention to it to avoid the forming heat on my cheeks. I examined it and saw nine more stars to go and we will finally have all the necklaces and I would reunite with my fellow enchanters.

"Map, where is the next destination of the quest?" I asked the piece of paper and soon, the third star on the map glowed and became red in color. A bigger landmass then formed around it and the name of the place was slowly carved and revealed below the red star.

"Kingdom of Alfas.." I read the text, mustering to myself.

The kingdom of Alfas is one of the three main settlements and most prosperous kingdoms in the Eastern region, alongside the kingdom of Verar.

There are mainly four regions in the world. The first being the northern region or the Continent of Bevania which is the realm of the elves. It is also called the Elfen lands. The land of majesty.

The second one is the southern region or the Continent of Subevania which is the realm of the fairies. The land is also called the land of wonders and nature.

The third one is the Eastern region or the Continent of Alkalis which is the realm of the humans, shape shifters, and witches. It is our home region and we also call it the land of different races.
