The royal Family and the knights of the kingdom already returned to the palace and the parade is over about an hour ago and here we are, before the gates of the palace, standing and waiting for the guards to let us in.

"This palace is enormous. I bet it took decades to carve and build the beautiful statues and structures of it.." Fabian said and I can agree to that.

Truth to be told, when it comes to architectures, Verar is no match to Alfas. Verar's palaces are still beautiful and enormous but not like Alfas.'

The three kingdoms of the Eastern region has different industries. While Alfas is good at architecture and known for their beautiful statues and structures, Verar is good at making armories and battle ships and we are known for it. Lenore (pronounced as le-no-re) on the other hand is known for their forestry and vegetations.

"Hey you two, what are you doing here?" A guard asked while making his way to our direction.

"We need to talk to the queen.." I replied and he stared and looked at me like I just spurted the most stupid words ever spoken to mankind.

"The royals doesn't expect any visitors today. What do you need from her majesty?" He replied, still looking at us with his stupid expression.

I looked at Fabian for help and he sighed.

"Hello, I am captain Fabian of the enchanted crew ship and he is-" he was cut off when the guard raised his sword and directed it to Fabian's neck.

Fabian raised his hands in surrender.

My gaze looked at both of them back and forth, completely dumbfounded on what's happening.

"A pirate. I must not let you two enter.." The discrimination on us just because the man beside me said he is a pirate is worthy of a serious debate. Well he has a point, pirates are thieves after all.

"I am Prim, and I am an enchanter from the kingdom of Verar." I said, gaining the attention of the guard. "I need to speak to the queen for a serious matter.." I continued calmly but the guard looked at me rather suspiciously.

"How must I believe you when you are with a pirate, and a captain for that.." He replied and redirected his sword to me.

How many times do I have to prove to anyone that I am an enchanter?

I rolled my eyes to the guard. Seriously, I'm so done making myself be known. Not that I'm a narcissist or whatsoever.

"Do you really want me to prove it to you?" I asked and the guard stayed silent, completely taken aback by what I said.

After a moment of contemplation, he finally decided to put down his sword.

"I must speak to the King and ask permission first if I should let the two of you in.." He replied and went back to enter the huge gates of the palace.

Again, we waited for a few, few, and few more minutes. I groaned in irritation as the more time passes by, the more my time is being wasted. Not to mention, Fabian is acting completely weird beside me, though, I ignored his weirdness.

It's starting to make me feel like we were just ghosted when about half an hour, the guard returned. "His Majesty is expecting the two of you in the throne hall.." He said and I quickly followed him inside. Fabian on the other hand hesitated for a moment before following suit which is completely weird of him. Though, just like earlier, I ignored his weirdness.

When we finally entered the palace, I was surprised and amazed by the beautiful and well carved walls and statues. The insides are more beautiful than the outside.
