Ziyi's POV

Why Qinjia out of all the people called me? I don't see myself alone with her. Of course I would love her company but my conscience won't be that pleased. It would be killing me from the inside to control the feelings that should never have appeared in the first place. It is some kind of a brutal mistake that heavens made.

"Why when there is something significant to do you are always asked first not me...even though it was me who came with the great plan of NanaxXukun mission...and I have never heard a stupid thank you," Yanjun complains crossing his arms in front of his chest offended.

"You can go with me if you want," I state. That would make everything easier for me. "Maybe your sense of humor would make her feel better," I add to persuade him.

The little spark in his eye is enough for me to know that he's in. Yanjun loves the feeling of being needed. Even though he acts like a complete idiot and playboy sometimes, there is something big underneath it all. The great guy with a big heart and smart plans. He can hack computers after all. What is more it was indeed his idea how to bring Xukun and Nana to the prom. He knew exactly who would be able to persuade Xukun and who would be able to force Nana.

"If you insist," Yanjun replies with dignity keeping his head high trying to show me that he agreed because he's so generous not because he wants to go.

"Come on..." I say and drive to Nana's apartment.

"Ziyi? Yanjun? Something happened?" Nana asks opening the door for us. Her eyes even more pufy than they were before and red as if she just stopped crying. It breaks my heart to see her like this and I don't remember when was the last time I saw her in this state.

"We came to check on you, pretty woman. And I see we have a great timing because you seem like you need such great gentlemen like us," Yanjun declares even though the girl doesn't look pleased with our unexpected arrival.

Yanjun walks inside not waiting for her invitation nor response and makes himself comfortable on the couch. I hesitantly follow after him but stop in a half way to talk with Nana. I watch as she closes the door and her heavy eyes land on me.

"What did he tell you back then? We were screaming behind you but you wasn't reacting," I ask but the girl sighs deeply and make her way to the kitchen. She pours herself another glass of vine I guess. I hope it's only her second one but the bottle is already half empty. I don't know when it was opened but I hope it wasn't today.

"Nothing. He has no idea who I am. He acts just like he did when we met...also...he asked me if his songs were written for someone," she says after taking a sip. Her eyes glued to the wall behind Yanjun.

"And what did you tell him?" the grey haired boy asks innocently.

"I told him that if he didn't want spoilers...because he said himself that he didn't want them...he should find out himself," she answers and takes another sip focusing on the red liquid as if it had the answers for everything.

"It was the prefect opportunity to tell him the truth...why didn't you? Why? Is really not forcing him into love the only reason? Tell us the truth Nana. Whole truth," Yanjun demands surprising me with his firm tone and I want to scold him but before I can open my mouth Nana sobs loudly.

"Because then I would have to told him the whole truth...that we were together but lately everything was collapsing. That we were arguing. We were falling apart. He was all lovey-dovey with his fans but when drunk would tell me that I was cheating on him. I don't know when it started and why...I would have to tell him that right before his accident we had a fight...and you know what he told me than? In anger I asked him that maybe we should break up and he said," she stops as her tears cuts her off as a wave of pain attacks her. It can be seen how it all kills her from inside. Xukun has never told us it wasn't good between him and Nana. I noticed something is off but I didn't know it was that bad. "He said...yeah maybe we should," she adds and this is the moment her body falls to the floor as she still cries her heart out. Not thinking twice I ran up to her and take her tiny figure in my arms. I put her up and put her down on the couch sitting next to her while the girl grips my hoodie tightly.
