Nana's POV
"Yes," I answer the phone walking into the car in order to come back home.
"Nana...can you do me a favor?" I hear Yanjun's voice what makes me close my eyes in frustration.
"No," I answer and throw the phone on the passenger seat breathing out deeply. I'm still in shock and there is so many things that wander in my head. I'm not in the mood for favours. I put the seatbelt on and turn on the engine.
"Nana...Nana, please, it's important," I hear him talking and I sigh deeply.
"So what is it this time?" I ask even though it's quite obvious that it involves Xukun. Yanjun has never asked me of anything else than something that includes Xukun.
"Pick up Xukun from his meeting with Chengcheng," Yanjun explains and I furrow my brows in confusion. Xukun met with Chengcheng? That's something new and quite worrisome. "This time I really have something important to do."
"Oh really what is it? Oh wait, let me guess...hmm...you can't tell me because it's a secret," I say ironically considering hanging up now.
"This time I seriously can't tell you," he sounds almost serious but then adds. "It's for your own safety."
"Yanjun stop playing these games and I'm not going to-"
"I'll send you the address, thank you. I love you! Bye!" Yanjun cuts me off and I widen my eyes.
"No, Yanjun. Wait-" he ends the call and I throw the phone again angrily. I should have hung up earlier or shouldn't have picked up in the first place. How am I going to face him now? Now that I know everything...
My phone goes off and I check the text that Yanjun has sent me. I put the location into my GPS an drive off sighing deeply. I just hope they haven't argued too much.
I finally make it to the bar. It's hidden behind the trees near the rode. If not for the GPS and the big sign I would have missed it for sure. It's quiet here and by the amount of cars I can say that not many people are inside. I take a big few breaths and try to control my trembling hands. I'm nervous as if I was going on a job interview or a blind date.
I walk out of the car and make my way inside. I hesitantly open the door and sneak inside quietly. I can already see them sitting at the bar quietly. Chengcheng looks on his watch and gets up nervously but Xukun catches his hand. They don't look like they were fighting. There's not any anger emitting from them. Chengcheng looks around as if he was looking for a rescue and his eyes lands on me. He sighs but it's hard to say if it was out of relief or the other way around.
Xukun follows Chengcheng's gaze and notice me. He seems to be surprised and I can guess that Yanjun hasn't informed him about the change of plans. Xukun's brown eyes observes me carefully with a strange look I have never seen before. It's something more than just simple confusion but I don't know what it is and what is the reason. I wonder what they were talking about.
"Hi Nana," Chengcheng says smiling weakly at me. "And bye I guess...I should leave now. I have a lot of things to do," he adds and looks at Xukun. "It was nice to talk to you. Let's do this again another time," Chengcheng says his last words and leaves me and the boy alone.
"Yanjun asked you to come here?" he asks making sure his assumptions are right.
"About twenty minutes ago. Let's go," I say and turn around to leave. He follows me and to my surprise he even opens the door for me. I thank him and head to the car trying not to think about what I have heard today and to ignore Xukun's strange gazes he has been sanding me since I came inside the bar. It's hard to read him now. I have no idea what is going on inside his head since I have no idea how many memories he actually recalled. If I only knew what he knows already. Or maybe he doesn't know anything...
