Imagine:
You open your eyes and look at the alarm clock that's sitting on your nightstand. It's 3:00 in the morning and you can't sleep. You turn your head and look at your husband Hunter, who is sleeping peacefully with his arms wrapped around you. As best as you can, you try to get out of bed without waking him up and head downstairs to get yourself a late night snack. As soon as you get into the kitchen, you grab your container of vanilla ice cream out of the freezer, and your secret stash of Oreos that you hid in one of the cabinets, away from Hunter. That boy will eat a whole pack of Oreos by himself if you let him. After you get everything you need, you head back upstairs to your bedroom and sit your snacks on the nightstand and get comfortable in your bed again. You turn on the TV and start looking for something to watch, but when it starts to get late, TV is crap. While you're in the middle of looking for something to watch, you grab your Oreos and sit them right next to you on the bed, occasionally eating an Oreo as you continue looking. While you're still looking for something on TV, Hunter reaches over you and opens the pack of Oreos, grabbing two and shoving one in his mouth as he holds the other one in his hand. "What the heck Hayes? You were just knocked out!" You say with a laugh. "I WAS knocked out," he says as he finishes the first oreo. "But then I realized that you brought oreos upstairs. And I thought you said that we ran out!"
"Yeah that was a lie. I have a secret stash of Oreos downstairs," you say as you turn to face him. "I thought we weren't going to keep any secrets from each other. You know, it always starts with lying about sandwich cookies and then it turns into something serious. Next thing you know...we're going to be in the divorce court," he says as he starts fake crying and screaming loudly, making you laugh. "You're going to divorce me over oreos?" You say. "No I wouldn't divorce you over sandwich cookies. I wouldn't divorce you over anything," he says as he pulls you close and softly kisses your head, making you smile. "So...what are we watching?" He says as he looks up at the TV and then looks at you. "I don't know. There's nothing on right now," you reply. "Hold on," he says as he gets out of bed and heads out of the room. About a minute later, he comes back into the room and flops on the bed with a movie in his hand. "What about this?" He says as he holds up X-Men Days Of Future Past. One of your favorite movies. "We can watch that but if I start crying during the scene where young Charles is talking to--"
"If you start crying then I'll hold you," he says with a smirk. You smile as he puts the DVD in the DVD player and gets back in bed with you. As you cuddle and watch the movie with him, you both eat ice cream and oreos and talk about your plans for tomorrow. Well, later on that day. After a while, Hunter starts to put the snacks up when he realizes that you're falling asleep. "Babe...maybe you should go ahead and go to sleep. You need to get some rest," he says. You shake your head. As weird as it sounds, you don't like going to sleep in the middle of your favorite movies. You would rather wait till the movie is over. "No Hunter I'm fine," you insist. "(Y/N)..." Hunter says softly. You turn to face him and he pulls you close and gives you a gentle kiss on the lips. "We can finish watching the movie tomorrow, okay? But you need to get some sleep," he says. "Okay fine," you say as you wrap your arms around him and bury your head into his chest. After he turns off the TV and gets comfortable, he gives you one last kiss. "Hey (Y/N)?" he says as he runs his hands through your hair. "Yes Hunter?" You mumble. "I love you," he says softly. "I love you too Hunter," you reply.
